I think they were reported by ASUS within a couple weeks of the SB release. They tested 100 chips, so I can't imagine they spent much time on each one.These numbers were reported by ASUS at launch of Sandy Bridge.......but the point here is that the OP is looking for a guarantee of 5 ghz........a guarantee that cannot be provided. I think the chart is still fairly valid in making the point, even if the %'s are off.
