CTD 737-600 SAS LOOW to LOWI

Featured Replies

I just got a CTD on the new 737-600 from LOWW to LOWI at about 5 miles from Aerosoft LOWI.SP1 installed and then the new 737-600 in SAS livery.Everything was fine and perfect for a great RWY 26 landing, weather was also perfect, then everything froze and back to desktop. Also, why is it that PMDG still negates to recognize us users with Force Feedback joysticks???Is not a big deal to have to go to the iFly plane and steal their settings, then paste to PMDG ones, but we should not have to do that...

S(Did your parents really name you S? Strange... Worried.gif )Your flight happens to be one that I use during testing about 10 times a week... (scenery is interesting...)I have never experienced a CTD along this route. We had a beta tester who was- but it was determined to be something scenery related... I don't recall what, specifically as it was some time ago.

Robert,Santos, S for Santos, I will change my sig to reflect that.I just did the reverse, LOWI to LOWW in the 737 600 MALEV livery and ZERO problems, in the past, when I get a CTD, it seems that the plane autofixes itself, great secret option on PMDG part! Thanks for your prompt reply, specially being Sunday, I will keep an eye if anything else develops, other than that, it is a GREAT product and the efforts from all the staff is superb!

The forcefeedback settings are missing in all aircraft.cfg, if you are getting forces without the config, not sure how you are doing that, otherwise you get huge joysticks bumps from left to right...

There is an update @ Aerosoft to fix G3d.dll error. Also, if you have a high LOD setting, it is possiable to get one @ INN VOR.

Not only possible, 100% sure at LOD 6.5 or higher if you are high setting junkie.

I have testet this flight about 20 times and i get OEV16/8500 CTD everytime if i have autogen higher than Normal. LOD is standard 4.5Now if you record the session with FSRecorder and set the Autogen to Max in replay there is no problem. NO AA and theres is no problem either. No Overclock still problems.I have btw no problems with any other airplane. I must say i have not testet yet after SP1 but only with HF4 , will do a flight tomorrow.LOWI has a 1.20 version that might help you but then again it might not :-)Regards Michael Moei7-950@4,2HD5870 1GBSSD 128 win 7 64bitRaptor 300GB FSXFSX SP2

It all comes down how high your push you VAS - LOD is NOT the only factor.I just finished LOWI flight with all bells and whistles, autogen not on normal, but one notch below max, as my VAS stayed below 3GB, I was able to successfully finish. There might be other reasons why your VAS is going over and beyond, but LOD is not the only reason. And, of course that in the replay there is no crash - do you know why?

My LOD is set to 4.5I will add that I made this same flight perfectly OK with 737 800 before SP1 and 600 came out with no Hotfixes at all...

Well in replay my VAS is 3.6-3.9GB and no crash so the G3D.DLL does not have anything to do with VAS.Sure it is something stressing the GPU and Aerosoft has nailed down some of it as being a memory loop but again i have not overcomed it yet. Will testfly again tomorrow :-)/Michael MoePS!Passing OEV16/8500 on Normal Autogen and just after setting the Autogen to MAX and there is no problem as well :-)

In which program are you reading that?

2nd try tonight, Robert, from LOWW to LOWI in the 737 600 MALEV again, CTD at around 5NM from airport, this time I noticed that the plane on first try had HUD and this time it did not, weird. But the last flight I did from LOWI to LOWW was successful....I will try again tomorrow with 737-800 as i know that worked last time I did pre SP1...

I have noticed that the SAS livery on the 600 is 7-10 FPS lower than any other aircraft.

This is very weird. For the first time EVER i was able to fly with Autogen on MAX towards OEV16/8500 landing at 26 in LOWI . I was just going to gratulate PMDG for this smooth and CTD free experience but for the first time EVER the FSX had a CTD during the REPLAY with FSRecorder. Thats a new one :-) and still the G3D.DLL errorNow the plane was 737-600 SAS and i noticed that the VAS has improved as well being around 2.9 to 3.1 GB/Michael Moe
