  1. I see what you are saying, but why did the Airbus Extended not behave the same? in same conditions?
  2. Flight from KDFW to KMSY tonight, 01/08/13, real weather, as seen in pic, winds were jumping from 95 to 105 Knots making the plane bank suddenly hard left to the point of getting the "BANK ANGLE" warnings, then after a while bank full right also to "BANK ANGLE" to try to mantain magenta line. Is there an AP limitation in the BOEING procedures for this case, or was this just a FSX issue? The plane did this constantly until we reach TOD, then it stiblilzed on the descent, even though winds were still around 80 Knots. I have to say, i did a flight the day before in the Airbus Extended, also with winds varying from 95 to 100, and even though it was a rough flight, it never banked like the 737 did tonite... 3. This is pretty darn cool! http://www.newairplane.com/787/dreampass/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Post&utm_campaign=DreamPass
  4. This whole thing reminded me of this LOL!!! http://youtu.be/LzAXb7qCCAo
  5. PilotoVirtual replied to a post in a topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
While not an instructional video, I made this one taking the NGX from C&D to flight ready, flight, and land.... KTPA to KATL
  6. After enjoying the NGX since the day it came out, I recently took the MD-11 for a spin and realized how bland the VC looks compared to the 737, I for one can't wait until the new 777 comes out, I bet it will even shadow the 737! PMDG has set THE standard by which all other addons will be measured by... GREAT JOB!
  7. I'm going to check this again with SP1b, but on a flight with the AA 738, after passing 18,000 feet, the ND did not flash indicating so....
  8. Just fired up the 600 for a test with SP1b and the landing bump sound is still after initialization...
  9. For another challenging airport, try SVMD Merida Venezuela, only one approach exists which is a Visual Chama River, no ILS, no VOR, no turnaournd, make it or loose it...specially if the weather is not too good, less than 5 nm visibility and the airport closes.Sample approach: http://www.vataware.com/flight.cfm?id=7676925Chart Here: http://ivaovenezuela...cartas/SVMD.pdfScenery here: http://davidmaldonado684.blogspot.com/
  10. I tested ORBX where I also got a CTD and I was able to finish that one too! :)FSUIPC is not the sinner, Peter found a way to "trap" the error and fix it on the fly so that you do not get the CTDs...http://youtu.be/mxsIUsjmiZ0http://youtu.be/PxmzbJzmR3Q
  11. FSUIPC4749dMake sure it has the 'd' at the end, is the one that fixes the dreaded G3D.dll woes...
  12. SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The latest version of Pete Dowson FSUIPC DO solves the CTD problems related to G3D.dll known for many airports.Today I was able to finally land this beautiful plane at LOWI, at the dreaded 16.5 nm from the airport, where it always CTD before, you get a small hiccup, but this time the sim continues as nothing happened.
  13. Click on the link I posted above, it explains everything in detail by BOEING
  14. I found this for this beautiful PMDG Boeing, made by non other than BOEING! Interesting reading too...http://www.boeing.com/commercial/aeromagazine/aero_23/737-700Bhutan.pdf
  15. This has been here for quite some time, read here, very interesting...http://www.aviationweek.com/aw/jsp_includes/articlePrint.jsp?headLine=In-Flight%20Monitoring%20Systems%20for%20Business%20Aviation:%20Part%201&storyID=news/bca092011p2.xml
  16. When you do upgrade, what are your plans for the one you have now, mine is a I7-920 also, but at 2.67 Ghz...
  17. I'm glad to see that I am not alone with the OOM crashes post SP1....
  18. Ok, KATL to KTPA with AES OFF, this time I was able to land the 737-600, something that in two earlier tries could not, but as soon as I turned onto the taxiway, CTD with OOM message... both airports are PW ones...Is getting to where I cannot land this beautiful beast in PW airports, this never happened before SP1, and I mean clean no fixes install, I never had any problems before SP1...
  19. Did you set the ILS frequency to both NAV radios?
  20. I also have been getting these, but on all AES equipped airports, I am thinking that PMDG and AES do not like each other, I am turning AES OFF and going to try again tonite and see if that helps.
  21. That is more likely, as when I left Juno there was snow on the ground... and when I left Nashville tonight, not...
  22. FSX bug? Not sure, this is the first time I have ever seen this and never with any other PW planes.Hit "I"?, that don't work as "I" on the PMDG is set (mapped) to cockpit light.I just did another flight in 737 700 at FL 330, had the normal contrails, and NO ground effects.Perhaps is the extreme Alaska weather that causes that... :)
  23. Is this a bug?, or just a necessary evil due to the complexity of the plane? Is clearly not the engine contrails, as you can see those as well, fight from PAJN to PANC.http://youtu.be/ypCTpWAvfNU
  24. I wonder if they also called support with an ALT Callout bug!!! LOL!!!!http://youtu.be/ossK4xTMBSM
