November 21, 201114 yr This has to be one of the top 5 most dangerous airport approaches in the world. The FSX Default scenery is horrible but Thai Creations did a nice FS9 version. Hope they come out with this for FSX soon. http://secure.simmar...intl-vqpr.phtmlThis is a full visual approach, there is no ILS or IGS. (Autoland Junkies need not apply). Paul Deemer
November 21, 201114 yr I has been landing this airport before,it's pretty hard,go around 3 or 4 time.. Jia-Hsing Fu

Ha.... a couple more attempts, and I think I'll have it. I wonder what the real world training regimen must be for this approach. Probably similar to Courchevel. November 21, 201114 yr Author Which are the rules when the visibility is low due to fog/clouds/bad weather? You need to do the full approach visually so if visibility is a problem you divert. Paul Deemer
November 21, 201114 yr Tough landings are good to practise but an even beter test of your 737ng knowlwedge/skills is topick a short flight ( I use EIDW to EINN in Ireland) and just after takeoff do not use any outside visualfor the rest of the flight including the landing. I use this in the real simulator a lot and it is great for testinga pilots weaknesses especially in his/her understanding of the AFDS system and FMC......LNAV/VNAV.Any good airline pilot should be able to do a full flight with NO visuals.........in a sim of course.( I am of course talking about ILS landings using autoland or manual )Fred. November 21, 201114 yr That's the camera man who's commenting, not the pilots. But yeah, I want a scenery for this so I can start practising on it, cause this place looks awesome! Magnus Meese NGX Pilot VATSIM C1, SUP and Pilot
