Texture problem on 600/700 - all liveries

Featured Replies

Exit arrows on the wings.800 BA:700 AUA:It is on every livery. 600 and 700, incl. House.

Just think of em of messy pro-seal jobs on old antennas..
I have no idea what you mean by that. You do know I mean wing arrows?

Ohh I thought you were talking about the little black spots on the top of the fuselage.Pro-seal is just a fancy trade name for dark sealant goop.I think if you look closely, I think you'll see there's still arrows, it's just they are outside of the emergency exit lane, as opposed to going through the middle of it. The 600/700's only have one over wing emergency exit, so the regulations on placarding etc probably only require one set of arrows along the outside, as opposed to the 800/900's which have two over wing exits per side, requiring two "lanes" for people to follow.

Seriously!!? Alright, lol. LOL.gifInitial post edited!

The 600 and 700 only have one wing exit door, therefore one arrow and escape path. I still recommend leaving through the nearest hole in the fuselage.

Hey guys. I put in a support ticket regarding that problem in the paint kit. Is this one in the downloaded liveries from PMDG?
All are from PMDG. Nothing 3rd party here.

The overwing exit arrows on the 600/700's in your screen shots are correct. (actually, I submitted a support ticket because the PMDG repaints for the WJ 600/700's used the 800/900 exit markings by mistake)WJ-1.jpg

Alright. I was looking for pictures of those arrows on the net but couldn't find any. I only assumed it's the same as 800/900.

David,I overlooked this one, I had the correct wing exits but for some reason I included the -800 version. My apologies, they have now been corrected and you can re-download them.Enjoy and sorry again for the screw up...Regards,

What does this mean? What can we re-download? Which one is now correct?

KostaThe Westjet -600 and -700WL both have the correct wing emergency exit path markings. That is what I am referring to.To obtain the updated repaints go to the livery folder and re-download the Westjet repaints if you have already downloaded them prior to tonights update. If you haven't then I'm just letting those that have already downloaded those repaints to re-download.That is what I meant.... :-)

Ahh, OK... so Westjet's are incorrect and were corrected, and the rest is OK, like on my pic, where Austrian uses different markings. Why did they change the markings on the 600/700 as opposed to 800/900? Doesn't seem to make sense.

That is because the 800/900 have two emergency exits on each wing, whereas the 600/700 have only one emergency exit on each wing. Austrian does not use different markings. That is the way it is on every commercial 737-600/700. Take a look at the Austrian 800, and you'll see that it has the 800/900 marking. Also take a look at the picture on post #8.
