No, but according to my sources in Nevada, there's been reports of a certain well known flight simulator developer approaching strangers in his car, going: "Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?", and then speeding off.Nevada State Police are currently investigating.Maybe something can be read into that, I don't know.
LOL.gif Nice.

When I quote RSR's 99.99999% of you won't need/care about these changes ...then I think, that this statement only makes sense, if 0.00001% is at least one person owning the NGX. Therefore a minimum of 10,000,000 people are flying the NGX smile.png !

Guys its against the rules to talk about this subject. So if you love PMDG just like i do lets stop this topic. Lets show some respect to them. They establish some rules, lets just follow them. Ater all they deserve it. Thats all i have to say.

Hi,Its probably not my bussiness, and it might be a bussiness secret. But I am too curious.I have no idea of how big the flightsimmer community is nationally, and how many out there flies. And how many flies PMDG 737NGX?Therefore: how many copies have you sold?I really hope you guys are doing REALLY well. Would be well deserved!Regards,Andy
I really think that this thread is really inappropriate.A person doesn't really walk into a store and ask how much profit they are making.Just enjoy the excellent product Straight%20Face.gif

That is so true. That is why I am not asking for their profit figures. That would per definition have to involve expense figures.Number of sold items is something else. Actually, many stores I have been into, tends to use figures like this as a sales argument.(Not that I recommend PMDG to do that in any way)That said, I am more into approx sales, as in number of copies. In a logaritmic fashion, if that need be. 10, 100, 1000, 10.000, 100.000. :)If anyone finds that inappropriate, then I am sorry they do.This was supposed to be a happy post. I truly feel happy for the PMDG team if they earn good money from this. But those figures are not what I am asking.I am just curious about approx how much an addon like this sells. As in "how many are we?"If this breaks the forum rules, I am sorry. I at least didn´t interpret it as an violation.Speaking of sales figures, I am planning to make them skyrocket further this weekend. Latest SP1 reports makes me want to try 737NGX on my slightly outdated PC anyway. :)With computer part prices increasing these days, buying a whole new setup doesn´t really tempt me.Have a nice evening!Regards,Andy

Though NGX is stupendous, it has some FSX limits... Would be nice if they could make a stand-alone sim with more accuracy, so I'd pay more than $ 300 for that. They just had to protect it well to avoid piracy. Not easy business after all...Teo Halfen

Those asking for sales information; didn't your parents teach you to not ask how much a person earns? It's called bad manners. Same applies to a privately held company (as opposed to a publically held one where the share owners have ever right to know). The presumption that any privately held company would answer such a question (sales, profits, cost of sales, ad nauseam) is just mind boggling to me.

I hope this thread gets locked !!!Fred.
