Instant Replay

Featured Replies

The replay quality is poor. Spoilers remain in the position the way it is, before the start of replay and reverse trust effect is not played. What is wrong with my fsx ? Please suggest.ramana

If you want decent replay (e.g. moving control surfaces), try FS Recorder.Cheers,- jahman.

I know about fsrecorder but instant replay quality is bad in fsx ?

unfortunately its the same with everyones fsx. the thing i find most frustrating is if i want to watch a takeoff i just did 40 seconds ago, i click instant replay and the plane goes back to the runway without landing gear extended, and the plane looks like its floating above the runway.. very annoying, but unavoidable...

As jahman has pointed out, fs-recorder is the way to go if you want better replays.....

Don't think my replays are that bad - during landing I see the spoilers raise and retract and the thrust reversers deploy? Not sure about the gear on takeoff though.

FSX replay sucks. Bigtime. Use FSRecorder.

I agree, on the PMDG 737 it does not show the spoilers or reversers IIRC......

Not to mention lack of AI in default replay.

Turbo Tomato, you dont seem to have the problem, did you make any changes ?

The extras I have are listed in my sig, I use DX10 preview if that helps. I don't have any payware aircraft though (such as the PMDG 737 mentioned above) but I use the Project Airbus A320 a lot and it works on that. Hope this helps.

I feel it is the issue with PMDG for spoilers and reverse trust but even otherwise the quality of replay is poor. I wonder how MS missed this.

Man, I'd wonder how MS missed many other things, rather than replay quality!

I understand from the various forums, there are many unsolved issues with fsx, despite that it continues to be recommended for better simming experience......

Ramana, just download and install FS Recorder and enjoy better instant replays. It's FREEWARE for heaven's sake, so it's not like it will cost you more than a few minutes of time... He%20He.gif
