November 3, 201114 yr HiI am quite an experienced pilot of the PMDG 737 ngx, but am constantly having a problem with the plane's speed when climbing above 20000 feet. The aircraft slows down all of a sudden, becoming close to stall speed. Would icing cause this, despite the throttles being fully open in an attempt to compensate? Please help, as I can's set cruising altitudes above 25000 feet. :( Ben

November 6, 201114 yr Are you using FSUIPC? If you are, try opening it via the FSX Addons menu. Don't change anything, just select OK and see if your climb continues. I have an open ticket and we are trying to resolve a similar problem. Please let me know if this relates to your problem.Rick Bertz Rick Bertz
November 6, 201114 yr My first question (as already mentioned) would be what's the air temperature? Certain software configurations can give extremely high temperatures at higher altitudes.2nd, as already mentioned would be the possibility of sudden wind shifts caused by the weather updating. November 6, 201114 yr There is this weird bug in FSInn, where you climb the outside Temp gets Hotter! Decreasing performance, so my advice to you is to Disable FSINN, and use FSX Weather.
