November 11, 201114 yr Shalom and greetings all my pals,I decided for second time in second consecutive year to participate in one of the flights of this annual world famous and world renowned World Flight Group that holds annual one week long non stop Vatsim event flying many flights around the world from airport of departure to fly around the world stopping in many airports for refueling back to original airport to raise money for noble charity causes. Here is info on this charity: http://www.worldflight.com.au/ and here is the flight schedule for non stop one week long Vatsim event: http://www.worldflight.com.au/booking/schedule11.php.I made three flights in this World Flight 2011 event. Allow me to utilize one of the three special event flights to present mighty Airbus Industries A300B4-200!!!This plane was extremely familiar sight in many Caribbean islands where Eastern, Pan Am, American Airlines, Carnival Airlines, and Air Jamaica used to fly to all Caribbean islands.Frank Borman explained his decision to buy A300B4-200s in his own words "I save 30 percent of fuel consumption by using A300B4-200 planes for precisely same Caribbean routes that L-1011s and DC10-30s covered. This allowed me to shift L1011s and DC10-30s to longer routes while using A300B4-200s for Caribbean and other medium routes without sacrificing passenger seats while saving 30 percent fuel costs"Here is gorgeous flight from TBPB Grantley Adams International Airport located 12.9 km (8.0 mi) in an area officially known as Seawell from the centre of the capital city Bridgetown, Barbados to TJBQ Rafael Hernández Airport located in Aguadilla in the region of Porta del Sol on west coast of Puerto Rico. TJBQ has the longest runway in Eastern Caribbean and one of longest ones in Caribbean. TJBQ is popular airport for Puerto Rican westerners living in the Eastern Region of the United States and many airlines are starting service to TJBQ including JetBlue. Fed Ex is planning to expand the hub in that airport to make the distribution center of Caribbean.Stewardess greeting boarding passengers from the engine of A300B4-200Being pushed back from gateTaxiing to short of runway 09Entering into runway for take offOn climb to FL340 making 180 degree left turn toward FOFStill climbing to FL340Departing island of BarbadosCruising at FL340 to FOFBecause regulations of those forums do not allow more than 10 screenshots per post, please go to this hyperlink as seen below to view rest of exciting and super gorgeous flight.http://vatil.org.il/vatil/board/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=38775&p=375817#p375817Thank you for viewing and please stay tuned for next exciting flight!!Aharon

November 11, 201114 yr Author Thanks Speedbird2001, Steve Dra, and Superpilotv2 for kind words. Who made that model?Spuerpilottv2,It is good old fashioned SGA Airbus A300B4-200 but with latest version containing modifications to the plane and its FDE and all stuff. It is like souped up SGA A300B4-200.I believe that the Eastern livery is painted by Steve Dra but he does not seem to recognize this paint so I guess there is another painter with similar or same name.Aharon

Eastern is one of my favorite liveries and I've painted the L1011, A300, 727 and DC-9 with the hockey stick livery. :) And since you mentioned PAA and Carnival A300s in your post...I've painted them as well. I think they are available at flightsim.com. Just search for my last name (Drabek) and you should be able to find them (You may have to scroll through a few pages, hehe)Regards,Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

Your Eastern livery is masterpiece, perfect, and realistic but the color of letter N do not match the color of rest of letters of the name Eastern on both sides of the body?? Please see what you can do to correct the color of letter N to match color of the rest of letters of the airline name??? Look at my screenshots and you will notice difference in color of letter N compared to other letters of the airline name. Thanks a zillion for your understanding and please accept my apologies if you are offended.Regards,AharonGreat shots, especially 8!How did you get the nice saturation effect in the ground textures? Thanks for kind words. If you are referring to ground textures of Martinique, it is photorealism payware scenery from Antilles Collection software by France VFR software company. It does not affect computer's resources as I am using laptop for that.Aharon

First I thought it was the alpha layer, but when I opened the texture map I saw for some reason that N was darker...strange. Anyway...I have fixed the texture and emailed it to you.Regards,Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

November 14, 201114 yr Shalom Steve,Thank you very much for great understanding and for agreeing to fix the texture. It is much appreciated!!Hey Aharon,No problem, it was a simple fix and I should have caught it when I uploaded it (years ago, hehe). I fixed it right on the texture map, so I didn't need to go to the master and edit it, then move it to the map...wish all fixes were that easy, LOL.Regards,Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
