November 16, 201114 yr Is it possible that there will be a 737ngx cargo version? :-) Best regardsJakob 737 CL/NG skysurfer
November 16, 201114 yr Author Yeah TNT, All Nippon, Canadian North and United Airlines. And perhaps many more. :-) 737 CL/NG skysurfer
November 16, 201114 yr TNT does not fly the NG, only Classics. If I remember correctly, there is no Freight program for the NG. There is a -700C option, which (if memory serves me correctly) only the US Navy uses.I don't know about third party conversions, but Boeing doesn't even offer a BCF program for the NG.So, to put it short: TNT, ANA, Canadian North or UA will be flying classics, because there is nog 737 Freight program. November 16, 201114 yr There will be cargo NGs in a good many years down the road as lets face it as NGs get older they will inevitably be sold to third world countries and cargo airlines... it's the reality of aviation. Craig Harris 'NG Driver' for an airline whom shall not be named...
November 16, 201114 yr Author Craig I agree, but this thread i minded only if PMDG would perhaps make one? :-) 737 CL/NG skysurfer
November 16, 201114 yr Of course there will be Freight NG's, but as of yet, there aren't any. And I don't think PMDG will make a fictional aircraft. They were already resilient to make fictional liveries... Name available upon request
November 16, 201114 yr Never say never Akila, you have the C-40 Clipper version for the US Navy. It has a cargo door.
November 16, 201114 yr Which is the 700C I mentioned above ;)If I remember correctly, the reason for the "cargo" door, is so they're able to load stretchers more easily. The 700C is a Quick Change model though, which means it can be converted quite fast from pax to freight or vice versa. The US Navy is the only one using this aircraft though. It's way cheaper to convert Classics now and wait for the first NG's to become old enough for conversion. Name available upon request
