Just started using FS9 instead of FSX

Thanks Ray smile.pngI 've actually bought REX two days ago to give it a try. Spent some time to get on with it, it's got indeed nice textrues. I still use a mix of the freeware HDE and now REX, beside other personnal tweaks. I bought REX since I was missing satisfactory dawn and dusk sets.I'm an old fs niner as well, always knew that anyone can quite easily make the old sim look much better than the X one. The only plus in FSX is the ability to deal with 4096*4096 bitmaps, but the cost in frames is way too high.I do think that we still have few years ahead with fs9, and the market wont say otherwise ... Too bad PMDG gave us up though.Welcome to fs9 Mart !

Cheers ArnaudI like all the flight sims, just tried X-Plane 10 and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised how well I managed to get it to run but still when I go back to FS9 the smoother flight just gives you so much more feeling and it's just so addictive. Problem is now I need 4 PC's so I can fly them all at the same time, now there's a trick if you can do it.wacko.pngI need another fix but it'll have to wait till tomorrow now. sad.pngJust need to look at some of the add on stuff now.CheersMartin
