November 29, 201114 yr when atc for examp;les tellls you to descend from lets say 25,000 ft to 13,000 ft very hard to slow this plane down, so my best solution is using spoilers hich I rather not or slow down a bit before atc tels you to start your decent, their is obviiously some kind of bug here, and I am sure in the next patch their will be a slution ot this.Rockliffe so I agree with you have same problem like many others do., but thats whatI do.
November 29, 201114 yr While you are troubleshooting that ( I f.i. do not suffer of this issue ) you can temporarily workaround it by using by hand your throttle, so you can disarm the A/T and gently move the throttle according to your needinsgs.

However, I have had two flights this evening and by using the G key I have had no trouble. November 30, 201114 yr I have this bug sometimes and I use the G for gear all the time. I hope it's fixed as when it does happen it's an annoying end to a nice flight. -- X-Plane, Mac OS, XSB
November 30, 201114 yr I remember a B767 captain comment about approaching: "in a 767 the pilot must choose to slow down or descend, not both". After SP1, I thought the program was simulating this "feature" for the 800 and 900. But as soon as I purchased the 600-700 with the same behavior I concluded there was a bug somewhere.Sometimes I have a problem in my control unity and the gear down button won't work, having to use the G key. I did not note any change in the approach speeds.Regards, Heron Jr

I did not note any change in the approach speeds.Regards,I had few times the same issue with the landing gear button, sometimes, when pushing the gear button, the LG lever goes to the OFF position not to the up position. November 30, 201114 yr Author when pushing the gear button, the LG lever goes to the OFF position not to the up position. Now that is interesting, I have discovered that too. I thought it was just finger trouble... November 30, 201114 yr I had this issue something like 6 or 7 times, all after sp1. I've not paid to much attention to this issue because pushing again (2 times) the button will work again. Regards Andrea Daviero
