December 11, 201114 yr I would think by now, most of us would realize this is not a flight simulator at all, and this is said for all the sims that are on the market. What they really are...merely a method to determine if we happen to have the best computer on the planet. And of course we never have, and never will, but that is a joy to technocrats. If we could get these things running at 100 fps at with all sliders as far to the right, all the radio buttons checked, and boxes x'd in would we be happy? Of course not, we would immediately start looking for a better computer and a more realistic simulator. :-) LOL!!!The reason I know this is the old saying, "It takes one to know one".Flame on! December 11, 201114 yr It's always been like that. I can remember back to the days when running Flight Simulator was the way to test whether your computer was truly "IBM Compatible" or not. No other program made demands nearly as severe. It was a stress test.Other approaches are possible, though. You could always become a competitive overclocker and build one of those rigs that are cooled with liquid nitrogen and don't run any programs except pi calculators and other stressors. If it doesn't catch fire, you might be a winner. Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery
