December 25, 201114 yr Hello Mountain Man,I don't have the ADF tuning problem in the C172N, I just tuned three different NDB in my, (Oklahoma City), area, and the needle responded every time and I got a aural ID response. My problem is I can't get the Com 2 to work at all, Com 1 gets AtTIS OK, but I can't find a switch combination to get the Com 2 radio to say anything.C-172:I got the COM 1/ NAV 1/ NAV 2 to work but no COM 2 and No ATIS. There is a button with the numbers 1,2,3 and some letters XM FR SEL underneath. If I push that button nothing works except the ATIS and I can't move the button back to its original postion. I have to reboot XP 10 for that button to go back to its default position so I can get COM1/NAV1/NAV2 to work again. But still no COM 2. There are 6 toggle buttons the the right that don't seem to do anything except the number 3 button, which seems to be the speaker button.Edit: Please email Carenado ! I did and they seem to think that its only me. AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RTX 4080S, Ram - 32GB, 32" 4K Monitor, WIN 11. Eric Escobar
December 25, 201114 yr I have the same problem too. The first switch that doesn't work, will turn background chatter on and off in version 9, since there isn't any background chatter in version 10 this switch isn't active. The next two to the right does Nav 1 and 2 ID. The third is the speaker switch, the next two, are for the ADF ID. I have e-mailed Carenado, they say they will upgrade all of their planes as soon as things settle down. Each beta breaks something different. Beta 6 for instance changed functionality in the local map. the map is locked in the IOS mode with no way to change back, and I lost the 3D box. I can see why they are waiting to upgrade, you never know what is going to change in the beta. Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
