December 15, 201114 yr the other big site (not avsim but the other major "flight sim" .com site) accepts paypal...fyi Aaron
December 15, 201114 yr Thanks fvapres, but to my eternal luck they dont have the f33 listed at all. The other carenado planes do have the discount though.
December 15, 201114 yr Argh, just paying for the f33 to try some payway and carenado don't take paypal! I have $700 in paypal and want to use it.. hmm, maybe another shop is running the sale too..This should take Paypal:http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Categories?category=by+Manufacturer%3ACarenado "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

December 15, 201114 yr Argh, just paying for the f33 to try some payway and carenado don't take paypal! I have $700 in paypal and want to use it.. hmm, maybe another shop is running the sale too..X Plane.org store does PayPal, Am downloading the C172N from there now, slow download though 160 MB at 84 kb/sec. Got half of it now. This gives me the C152II, the Mooney, the F33A and the Archer. I wanted the C172N as thats is what I mostly trained in. I held of because I have a Jason Chandler C172 and of course the default. This sale did push meover the edge, I really need the panel. Hope and pray the flight model isgood, I haven't been disappointed in one of Carenados yet. I declined on the Saratoge as the Mooney is high performance as is the F33A Donald E. December 16, 201114 yr O.K., these planes are seriously awesome. They look great and fly great. The 152 and 172 work flawlessly in XP10 as far as I can tell with no quirks or oddities. They also seem a bit more stable than the default 172, but I can't say whether this is more accurate or not. I just know I like it.
December 16, 201114 yr Pulled the trigger on the 152 and 172, and I'm seriously considering the F33 the way Geofa has been raving about it.The downloads also appear to be DRM free and can be used without restriction, though there's apparently a hard limit of 3 downloads per purchase, so keep those files safe!Get the F33 since Geofa is raving about it. I did....
December 16, 201114 yr I did. The quality of these planes is way too good to pass up at these prices. Download is taking forever, though. I guess I'm not the only one taking advantage of the sale. The 172 in the air:Here's the 152. I think it's cool that chocks and a pitot flag (don't know the exact term) are automatically produced when the engine is off:Yeah, I know, I'm parked in the taxi way. Call the FAA and have them pull my license.
December 16, 201114 yr I picked up the C152 also,What a great little plane,Handles very well and the sound package is fantastic! 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
December 16, 201114 yr Just played around a bit with the F33. Nice plane, but considerably more complicated than either of the Cessnas! I'm going to have to spend some time figuring it out before I take it out for any serious flying.Everything seems to work properly, too. I'm not seeing any of the anomalies that were reported earlier such as lights in the wrong place or landing gear doors staying open.
December 16, 201114 yr Yep-last xplane update seems to have corrected all (including freeware scenery that wasn't working right-loaded up on that today :-) ) Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
December 16, 201114 yr I just noticed when looking out the side window of the 172 that the tail beacon lights up the wring strut. Very cool!
December 16, 201114 yr Broke down and bought the Saratoga, I was holding out, as I have the Mooney for a high performance plane. What the heck this one gave the entire stable, so how could one pass that up at this price. This gives me every plane Carenado has, for both sims LOL Donald E. December 16, 201114 yr I hear you-I may break down and buy the 172/150 just so I can have a complete collection... Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
December 16, 201114 yr I hear you-I may break down and buy the 172/150 just so I can have a complete collection...You won't regret it Geof. The C152II, is an absolute joy to fly. it is leisurely, but making circuits around the patch is so relaxing. I've had it for quite sometime and fly it a lot. The C172N, I just got today so am still playing with it. The blue C172N looks almost like the plane I got my license in, that was N160LH. Donald E.
