January 9, 201214 yr I can afford to have someone build a best of class water cooled system, I think ;o) I plan to wait til Ivy Bridge comes along. Any recommendations for a company w/ a gr8 rep for something like this? I don't mind supporting it after it's been delivered, but the initial build I'd be ok w/ turning over to a good 3rd party. I have built all of my systems for the past 15y.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. Aircraft used in MSFS 2024: Fenix A320, Aerosoft CRJ, FBW, WT 787X, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, Citation Longitude.
January 9, 201214 yr There are many online builders. I would pick one of the small volume builders with good solid reputation. The volume dealers (IBuypower, CyberPowerPC) have an army of amateur builders, and problems are very common. I used Ironside Computers. Unlike the volume builders, the owner does every system himself. The prices are OK, shipping is free, no taxes, and inflated foam interior protection for shipping is free. Every system has custom wire routing and looks all pro inside. My system was 1540$. The parts alone at (not the cheapest place) Tiger Direct were $1200+. Now Ironsides have 8% off and my system would have been under $1400. Your state of the art system will be more expensive.
