January 9, 201214 yr I thought it`s between 737ngx and 777.. :( AFAIK The Dash 8 is on the back burner, I think PMDG will be looking at how Majestic's new Q400 will pan out.Quote from Mr Randazzo:In the mean time, we continue at full steam to put the 777 together for you. I am not sweating the small stuff at this particular juncture- but I promise that whatever direction we go- you will be welcome to follow!Source: http://forum.avsim.n...ghts-on-flight/ Edited January 9, 201214 yr by Avantime
January 9, 201214 yr The Majestic Q400? I was reading about that back before FSX was even thought of. I would think that if it's not out by now, it's not coming; unless they've updated something fairly recently.

January 10, 201214 yr Well, that is interesting for sure. However, the last posting was March 2011, almost a year ago. Nothing since? Still, if it does come to light, it would be very hard to compete with it, that's for sure! Thanks for the link.

January 10, 201214 yr Too bad about the PMDG Dash8. I flew the 100 for years and would have loved to see a high quality Dash8 with steam gauges. The 100 was a real nice plane. Edited January 10, 201214 yr by bstolle
January 10, 201214 yr From what I read, the Dash 8 was going to be done by the same team at PMDG that did the J41 and it was a 'lite' product slipped in between the NGX and 777.Whilst I am sure there is some overlap amongst the respective PMDG teams, Im not so sure why the 777 would have any bearing on the Dash 8 schedule? Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
January 10, 201214 yr what`s happened to the PMDG DHC-8 project..?? :( Get used to it. PMDG doesn't give information until the last minute.
January 10, 201214 yr Would love to see a J41 SP2 first, but count me in on some nice Dash 8, regardless of the dev in charge.
January 10, 201214 yr Ahh yes, I see now. I was reading the wrong date in the posts. Thanks :) Too bad about the PMDG Dash8. I flew the 100 for years and would have loved to see a high quality Dash8 with steam gauges. The 100 was a real nice plane.Yes, and I work on Dash 8 components out of -100's and -300's, mostly from operators that operate in Northern Canada. I too would really miss this machine, and would hope that PMDG realizes there is a BIG difference between the Q400 and the -300 versions. There would easily be room for both.
