Just to be clear, I have received these pictures from someone who is using the beta... I Havent signed anything and Im not under an NDAAs you can see in the gamefiles there are obvious references to ATC and ILS... Also indicates homebrew aircraft compatability allthough for now that feature is locked awayscreenshot

Quick question, The person who sent you the image, Does he live in the middle east?Scrap the middle east idea, lets just go for austrailia... The times dont really match up.Under NDA or not, This is still leaked information from someone else under the NDA.

1: I dont think there was any debate on whether there were navaids (VOR/ILS) in the game.2: I don't see how this is proof of ATC?3: Yes it doesn't matter who is posting the information, this shouldn't be posted and should be deleted.

There was a guy here who said that features were locked but not deleted..... :Thinking:Yes it should be deleted before somebody hit print screen....

References to frequencies that ATC might use?Beta SiteJet and Victor airways references indicate High Altitude Flying... Jets anyone?I know i deserve a slap on the wrist for this but people assuming Flight will be completely stripped barebones with no possibility of expansion into a Sim in the future infuriates me.

He told me there is also refs to Flight Planner in the same file that i showed a pic of above

Unfortunately, we don't know when these things were put in. We do know that ACES was initially working on FSXI, so this may well have been put in by them and just not removed. The proof is in the interface. Does the interface look like there is a way that this stuff could be easily added? Also, who is testing this stuff if the beta testers are not. Will the paying customers be doing it after they bought the relevant DLC?Either way, anything is possible in the programming world, given enough time and money. The question is, what will be available on release day.

While we are happily breaking NDAs: Flight will also contain REAL cruise missiles, that will fly right out the front of your PC, then track, and lock onto, NDA breakers before hitting them in the @$$ with pinpoint accuracy.

well those icons indicating supersonic travel are obviously modern as they fit in with the theme of the UI... Well as long as the capabilities of what we want are there even if microsoft doesn't open it up im sure there are people who can easily break the system to allow us to import stuff... The SimObjects and loads of other familiar folders are there in the .PAK files albeit slightly restructured and the plane folders have different file formats for textures.

flight can be whatever microsoft want it to be thats one good thing about flight its open, maybe not to 3rd party but its open to microsoft,gaming side dont take off release and update the simulator side to cater to the simmers, with a dvd game once gold thats it apart from patches with this its an on going development. maybe for the long run will be what we want it to be but until then who knows
