February 3, 201214 yr Slam Dunk One was re-painted to the standard blue when SWA's marketing deal with the NBA ended some time in the last couple years. The SI plane was only a decal I believe, and only stayed on for a short time. Steve Caffey
February 3, 201214 yr Try to imagine wrapping a Mercator projection map around a globe and getting it to line up without being able to look at the globe while you're doing it. It's kind of like that. The closer you get to the ends of the aircraft, the more distortion there is, like Greenland looks huge on a map but small on a globe. Does that make any sense at all? Whow...what an explanation. Chris, you are not a geographer or a geodesist, are you? :(There are quite few things with the mapping of the textures. The worst thing I have encoutered so far are titles along the belly (thanks airberlin) of the fuselage. There's an area around the forward cargo door which really gets distorted. Lines which are drawn straight on the texture are projected with a small edge. It's lots of fun correcting this. :(That's the reason why I have stopped every attempt to go for Maryland One. No, but it was the best analogy I could come up with. lolI gave up trying to fix the stripes at the cargo door. NM One crossed right over that spot. It's maddening! Chris Hicks
