February 2, 201214 yr Guys who are passionate about Southwest, I need your help. By my knowledge, the specialty fleet of Southwest consists of the following aircraft:Shamu (1, 2 e 3)Lone Star OneArizona OneSilver OneTriple CrownCalifornia OneNevada OneNew Mexico OneMaryland OneIllinois OneFlorida One(Font: http://www.southwest.com/html/cs/landing/floridaOne.html)For the NGX, have been wonderfully made the following aircraft:ShamuSilver OneNevada OneNew Mexico OneIllinois OneIt's that or I missed something? Best regards Cristiano Mueller
February 2, 201214 yr Think that is spot on. I am patiently waiting for the Florida One to be made. I am guessing it is pretty hard, and that is why no takers have yet made it. William Sequeira
February 2, 201214 yr Author Think that is spot on. I am patiently waiting for the Florida One to be made. I am guessing it is pretty hard, and that is why no takers have yet made it.Thanks for the confirmation, William.I was afraid of losing some of these gems. I am also waiting for the Florida One, in my opinion the most beautiful of all. But I hope the painters do all the "Ones" because they are very beautiful. Best regards Cristiano Mueller
February 2, 201214 yr Lone Star and maybe one or two others are on the -300 model of 737, but I was planning to give it a shot anyway. Maryland, Florida and California Ones are beyond my skill level. Chris Hicks
February 2, 201214 yr Is the New Mexico One on Avsim?NM I just found it. Edited February 2, 201214 yr by cosnowboarder_777 John Bauer
February 2, 201214 yr Forgive me if this question appears to be ignorant - I'm not a painter, but my understanding is that one of the most challenging aspects of repainting these complex liveries is getting the curvature of the graphics to match on the top of the fuse without distorting the image.... Is this the case? It seems to me that there would be plenty of source material in hi-res for the state flags, so you wouldn't have to recreate them from scratch.... February 2, 201214 yr Try to imagine wrapping a Mercator projection map around a globe and getting it to line up without being able to look at the globe while you're doing it. It's kind of like that. The closer you get to the ends of the aircraft, the more distortion there is, like Greenland looks huge on a map but small on a globe. Does that make any sense at all? February 2, 201214 yr Author Lone Star and maybe one or two others are on the -300 model of 737, but I was planning to give it a shot anyway. Maryland, Florida and California Ones are beyond my skill level.Come on, Chris! Your skills are well above those paintings!! Let's do it!! Oops, the spirit of Steve Jobs is present. hehehehBut seriously, I admire your work, painters. Each new painting gives a new breath to the NGX. And they are spectacular paintings. With no exceptions.Following the topics, sometimes I see you guys, painters, saying that "it was not right," "this has an imperfection." And I swear to me, mere mortal, is wonderful. Sometimes I can not even find the imperfection. So if some of the Southwest One is above capacity, you can be sure that "imperfections" will still be wonderful for us.You, Chris, and all those who venture into a painting NGX have my admiration and my respect. And I still hope that the Florida One flies in the skies over my FSX as well as all other Ones. Best regards Cristiano Mueller
February 2, 201214 yr I have been on a jones for Florida One. Eing a native Floridian and loving the NGX just makes it harder to fly around without her. Silver One is a beaute, Shamu..same, 943WN is my every day plane, and "Dirty LUV" is growing on me.I have been staring at a hi-res seal of Florida and the paint kit for some time. The "bending/blending" is likely going to be beyond my level. Plus I have some CS 737-200 LV- regs I am doing. I am not against learning if someone wants to take me under their wing. Daniel Fernandez
February 2, 201214 yr Yes In real life the followoing liveries are currently on -300 aircraft, which is not to say they can't be done on a 700, but right now they are 300's. The others I would love to see on a 700. If you have the Wilco or Wilco Evolution Virtual SWA has these paints for the 300, combine that with PMDG 700's and Southwest is rocking on FSX!Lone Star OneArizona OneSilver OneTriple CrownCalifornia One ____________________________________________________________________________ Bryan Ramsey

I wonder if there is a way to create a layer in the .psd file that would act as a "roadmap" of sorts. Again, please forgive my ignorance on the topic... Buddy Morgan Specs removed by Admin.
