February 12, 201214 yr Author Thank you Mr. Wu for the link, there is a solution I see. Strange is that FSX runs without problem from a shortcut on the desktop but when launched from the game booster it gives me the error, strange... strange...Hugo
February 12, 201214 yr Game booster is a HUGE gimmick. I'd stay away from programs like that and attempt to simply use disk cleanup, CCleaner and defragment your HDD.

February 12, 201214 yr Game Booster is not "a gimmick" to all people. It has been the only way that I have found to make FSX enjoyable and not a slide show. I have a moderate computer and it works very well for me.
February 12, 201214 yr I have tested Game Booster also, but I find it pretty useless with FSX. Yes, it can be a good tool if you require memory for a certain app, but for me example, it is nearly useless as FSX can't utilize my memory fully in any case. Most of the background processes that you shut down with GB don't utilize processor time but just reside on memory and thus GB has very little effect on processor load which would be true help for FSX.
