Trivia question for those FSX scenery gurus

Featured Replies

In one of many weaker moments, I downloaded and installed an improvement to the default 'freeways' and 'road traffic'. I evidently performed an overwrite of my default FSX files, ( I may have a backup nearby) but I don't have a clue where to look and what the file name or names are. I have a full FSX backup someplace and can probably find the replacement files if someone can id them.Take a look at the screenshot - absolutely sick.Thanks.Ray

Kind of doubt they modified the default files (should be no reason to do so), but the data are in the cvx files. Give the lat/long and we can tell you the exact one to look for.scott s..

It is Cleveland but it is the default files and it is every freeway in the world. Someone sent me a PM with a link to the download. I am trying to undo it now Looks like there are four bmp files in the FSX/Scenery/World/texture folder that start with hiway_2_lane or hiway_4_lane (2 of each).I am starting with them and see what happens. Thanks for the qucik response guys. Here it is and it is highly not recommended fs2000.org file name road_v11.zipRay
