Thanks for that.Isn't it unusual that I have to go to a third-party to get a CD copy??Why doesn't the PMDG site offer that?Am I reading too much into this????CheersTim

Tim,Simple mate. Marketing costs, production costs, establishing relationships with vendors, it'd cost a lot to setup. Aerosoft are well established in marketing and selling products around the world. Its the same with Dreamfleet & Flight One as well as PSS and Just Flight.. :)

Thanks John.I had a look at Aerosoft, but I'm not gonna pay US$32.00 for delivery.( to New Zealand)Flight1 only charged me US$12.95 delivery for Ultimate Traffic, so I'm not sure what Aerosoft are smoking.....I'll keep hunting.CheersTim

Thanks John, you're a wealth of useful information.I've had a squiz, and all up they're asking about NZ$100.00 for it.That's a fair bit for ONE plane!I'll have to reconsider this over a beer.Still, I hear it's pretty good.....but it's a hundred bucks! If the missus ever found out, phew. Beatings aplenty.But...look at the detail! How cool !!!Hmmm.....

WellTheir is a solution, especially when you consider that all my PMDG 737 NG cost was

As I said the legal issues here would probably make the above post a redundant solution.sorry I can't help further. What would be the exchange rate on a hundred NZ dollars against the pound, I wonder. It seems alot.Wycliffe

PCAviator are asking for A$74.95, which is about NZ$100.00.I'm OK to spend it, but it's gotta be worth it!I spent NZ$67.00 on Ultimate Traffic, and it's worth every cent.I guess with adulthood comes these tough decicsions....

TimThe NZ is near its highest against the US at the moment (over 65c). Last week would have been better, for it got to nearly 70c. The PMDG737 costs $US39.95, thats about $NZ61. If you do not purchase any other add-on, make sure you get this one. Its the best $61 you will spend. Probably even worth trading a few beers on.PSDid you see TV1 on Monday night? They will spend 7 weeks with Virgin Blue and their 737-800 which they are going to use on the Tasman service. Should be worth a watch Monday's was OK.

Don't you know anyone with a high speed Internet connection? A friend that has DSL or Cable? You could download it to that machine and burn it on a CD-ROM. This safes you ANY money for delivery! (Unless your friend charges you something ;) ).-Andreas

> Airline wise, for those who know what the heck they are>talking about (trust me it's not as many as you think)Wow Randy, that is such a patronizing attitude. That is really the wrong thing to say. You, as far as I know, don't fly in real life, let alone in an airliner. So how in the world are you qualified to tell people that you know what your talking about, but not that many others do? Sorry Randy, had to ask the question.

Hi Mike,Yup, I'm about to take the plunge, regardless of cost. I hear nothing but good about it. If a Kiwi says it's good, then I'm convinced!Though I'm more concerned at the moment that my brand-new $3000.00 PC from Quay Computers has started stuttering! This has me gobsmacked, the only thing I've done recently is install (and uninstall !) Go Back from Norton Systemworks. Until then the PC has been running like a God!Yeah, I watched the Virgin Blue thing. Without sounding like a plane-snob, I found it a bit "simplistic". I was hoping for something a bit more in-depth, but I guess they have to cater for mainstream TV viewers, the majority of whom probably don't have our depth of knowledge and interest. But I'll keep going with it.See ya later.Tim
