March 1, 201214 yr Actually, the coin missions are fairly tough to get gold in.... imho... Maybe if I had the mustang...The Mustang is too fast for the first two coin challenges. Do them with the A5. For the third one, you need the RV for its speed and its size to fly between trees and under the road. Interestingly, I flew the A5 from spot view, but the RV from the cockpit.
March 1, 201214 yr I can't get past the first mission (the ballons) because I can't brake no matter what I try so my plane goes off the runway, slams into the fence and boom! Mission failed. On a positive note, I didn't think I'd be able to run Flight on my system because its a single-core 2.7ghz with only 4GB ram and a 1gb nvidia card, but it actually runs SMOOTH with all the settings at low, but even with the low settings it looks twice as good as the default FSX. I haven't tried the higher settings yet. Still trying to figure out how to brake. Edited March 1, 201214 yr by flightluuvr
March 1, 201214 yr Take alook in the keyboard assignments section and see what buttons are assigned to the brakes for example. Hopefully that will help you out. Edited March 1, 201214 yr by ckukmale
March 1, 201214 yr I think the first missions are a kind of gatekeeper. Stops the new players who have never flown anything beyond a paper airplane and never ever read instructions from charging in, crashing all over the place, flinging their controllers to the floor while yelling "Lame!" and never using the Sim again.Actually the whole game can be considered in that light.People rushing in calling out for all sorts of high level button pushing and complicated systems are missing the whole point (I think) and if given carte blanche would likely scare off huge swathes of those new players with something that would probably be about as enjoyable to them as an algebra exam. Unfortunately, MS might be quite right to lock things down for a while to prevent that from happening while they build a base.I remember the anger and the adamant nature of some segments of the hardcore enthusiasts from days of old, and think new gamers would quickly find other places to be, rather than be overwhelmed in that way. March 1, 201214 yr Hello,Watch out for this one - I have a rather big sim setup, GOFLIGHT modules, Saitek x52, pedals, etc. When I set up my FLIGHT, I had a bad time getting controls towork and then I realized that the FLIGHT setup (at least for me) required me to delete a lot of what I had in devices like my GOFLIGHT Throttle. I also deleted all of what I found in my CH pedals. When I was done. I had my stick on the ailrons and elevator. The throttle, Prop and Mixture on my GOFLIGHT and the rudder on the pedals. There is a known problemwith the brakes on the pedals. Toe brakes do not set up yet. All in all, the "game" is OK for now, I hope it evolves into a flight simulator as it developes. The system runsvery smoothly on my quad.Cheers,Ron Sagel
