March 1, 201214 yr Hi, Looking for a good KLAX airport add-on. Like it to be AES supported. Anyone use FSDreamTeam Los Angeles?Greg Greg Moore KFMH https://forum.pmdg.com/filedata/fetch?id=127275&d=1622041469&type=thumb
March 1, 201214 yr Yes, many of us are using this scenery. It is the best rendition available today.Cloud9 is rather outdated now, and not AES-supported, so you actually have no choice.
March 1, 201214 yr FSDT without a doubt, and I suggest trying GSX, which is free for all FSDT airports! March 2, 201214 yr Awhile back there were some complaints about the FSDT KLAX. Were they fixed or just dropped as complaints? I've held off from purchasing until I heard something.
March 2, 201214 yr There were no complaints regarding quality - it's the usual outstanding product from FSDT. The problem for some of us was framerates. But don't hold off - you can try it for free. Some people had no problems at all. On my system it was marginal and as I already have and like the Cloud9 version, I stuck with that though it doesn't have AES. But give it a shot - it might be fine on your system. If not, uninstall it - you have nothing to lose
March 2, 201214 yr FSDT KLAX is undoubtely very nice. The problem that were reported related to performance wont be solved, and is due to the fact that the scenerey has no LOD built in. That might affect you when you're approaching the scenery with a heavy complex aircraft (such as PMDGs heavies). The other problem is that some part of the scenry are blurried, due to the fact that the texture were initially desgined on FSX's 4096*4096 textures, not supported by fs9. So the fs9 version has sized down 1024*1024 textures; which cause some area of the scenery blurred (mainly cargo areas, and that might be fixed one day FSDT said).I use a dual core e8500 with a GTX260 and can run the scenery without too much trouble with full traffic and acfts like PMDG 747 and MD11.
March 3, 201214 yr Thanks for the info, guys. I'll give it a closer look. I've had very good results with the other FSDT products.
