March 2, 201214 yr Hello,if you are a vatsimmer you will know the biggest event on vatsim, va meeting is just tomorrow. I just read on the website that the default (not said wether its fs9 or fsx) does not have a rwy 34 and 28 which is going to be used. FIrst off does the default fsx have those runways? And secondly is it in the NGXs FMC? Thanks and if you are attending see you there! Joe Barton
March 2, 201214 yr Hello Joe, My first impression is that you appear to be an experienced simmer, but your question seems to be very elementary. To answer your question I went into FSX and punched in LSZH (Zurich) and clicked runways where I saw RWs 28 and 34. I think you should have done likewise. No offence, but bear in mind for the future. richard welsh. Richard Welsh

March 2, 201214 yr Since the NGX data is navigraph in origin, it will most likely have the data... regardless of the LSZH you have, default, Aerosoft, FSDT, or FreeZ...Andrew Andrew Entwistle

You can find the ILS 28 fix here:http://vacc.ch/en/airports_and_charts/BestKarim
March 2, 201214 yr Hi Karim, If you check my Post no.2, you will see I am correct as far as FSX is concerned. richard welsh Richard Welsh
March 2, 201214 yr Hi Richard,What I mean is that Joe probably got confused between : the default LSZH doesn't have runways 34/28 and LSZH doesn't have an ILS for runways 34/28 (which is probably what he read). LSZH always had a runway 28 and 34 (in real and on FS) but LSZH got an ILS for runway 28 and 34 after FSX got developed. 28 was equipped with an ILS due to a Crossair crash in bad weather (28 use to only have a VOR/DME app) and 34 due to an noise abatement procedure (to avoid south of germany at night and early mornings). In order to be able to use the ILS in the default scenery this weekend for the VATSIM event, go to http://vacc.ch/en/airports_and_charts/BestKarim Edited March 2, 201214 yr by fulcrum_64th
March 2, 201214 yr Hi Karim, I think I got matters slightly confused myself as I have the Payware Zurich installed which overrides the Default, thereby I got the data I stated wrong. It will all get sorted in the end. richard welsh. Richard Welsh
