A little confused....

Recommended Posts

Playing with Flight fo a couple of days and reading this forum, I'm still not sure: Are there ANY navigation controls in Flight? I bought the Maule to get the Autopilot but it doesn't function. How do you do ILS approaches, set headings, etc.?? Is there some sort of manual?ThanksBrian

Turn on the Avionics switch. It's the big white button on the lower panel, just to the left of the blue (prop pitch) knob.Be sure to turn on the navaid display on the Map so you can see them. Map/Legend/Radio Navigation. This has been Q&A'd several times today already...

the auto pilot does not work as of yet so any ILS approach has to be perform by hand all the way down to the tarmac . I had a thread on the beta forums titled" Flight school" that i hope the devs would put some work into it . Because as time goes by there is a clear evidence that a flight school or similar is need it in Flight.

Sorry, I missed the "AP" part of the OP. Flight actually insists that the pilot fly the aircraft, or at least brush up on their rusty piloting navigation skills!

It's funny to see how many people think ILS and AP belong together...

You do not need AP to fly IFR (I do not know who spread that silly ILS = autoland nonsense. Please, STOP do that!)Unfortunately, no AFM for maule.
