March 7, 201214 yr According to this post over at the .org this has been working since Beta 6 in XPX. I know this had been talked about earlier around here, and guys were disappointed to find out it wasn't working, well I guess it does now.Edit: It appears both are working, the 430 and 530.Check out the last few posts in this thread. I never did own it for XP9, so anyone that has it might want to try it in XPX to confirm? To quote the forum members over there: Reality XP 530 and XP10 in my case :( ....I was waiting for this since the first demo was out... The RealityXP GNS 430 plug in started working in X-Plane 10 with the Beta 6 release. Before that, it didn't even show up in the plug-in menu. It is working fine in the Beta 7 as well. I recently updated the GNS430 global nav database to the May2011 version as described elsewhere on this forum and everything seems to be working as well as it did in X-Plane 9. http://forums.x-plan...pic=55192&st=20GlenEdit: Here's the units....http://www.reality-x...-xpl/index.html Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro

March 7, 201214 yr Author I've looked around, can't find an answer. Can these be added to aircraft panels?Glen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro
March 12, 201214 yr It doesn't appear that it can be installed in XPX though - the installer will only accept XP9. Does anyone have a work-around, or have I just thrown away $50? :(

(I don't want to disturb my other XPX settings, if at all possible).Tom
March 12, 201214 yr Author Since I don't own the Reality XP for Xplane, I'll assume, and if it's like a lot of the other plugins for Xplane, once you install it to XP9 (the Reality XP), it would just be a matter of taking the plugin from "X9Resourcesplugins" and copying it to "XP10Resourcesplugins". Of course your install location will be in front of what I put in quotes. If it won't work this way, someone more knowledgeable please chime in. I have taken quite a few plugins that I used to use in XP9 and just copy them over to XPX, and for the most part, they work fine. My apologies for being so vague before.Glen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro

March 14, 201214 yr Author Tom, how did you make out? In the thread over at the org, a user did as I described above, by installing the XP9 demo, install the GPS to XP9, then copy the plugin to XPX, and it worked ok for him.Geof, does it work ok, might have to get it. Don't know if it offers anything more than the free plugin though. It seems to work fine, just don't know how to get it in a panel.Glen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro
March 15, 201214 yr Yep works great! Haven't tried the real plugin. Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
March 17, 201214 yr Glen,Thanks very much for your help. I can confirm that I was able to get it installed and working via the XPlane 9 port method. I haven't done extensive testing on it yet, and still want to dig more deeply into it to see how it works, but it's a major upgrade over the default "GPS" in XPlane. (It sure is nice to be able to load procedures, for example).
March 17, 201214 yr Author Good news guys, yes having this functionality sure does make things more enjoyable for sure. Now, if we can just convince Goran to figure out a way to get this / these installed in the panels of his aircraft....hmmm, DC-3 with a GNS 530W, just to name one of course.Glen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro
March 17, 201214 yr Here's a noob's question - is there a way to toggle the 2D display of the RXP GNS 530 on and off? I'm using Nils' config file for his BK117, which includes both a panel installation and a 2D rendering. The 2D is useful for readability (and the unit is wonderful for I-Follow-Roads helo flying) but it seems to be persistent, unless I'm missing something, which has been known to happen... Ideally I'd like to be able to call it up and glance at it, then close the window, the way you can with the SHIFT+number keys in FSX. Can that be done? March 18, 201214 yr Author I asked this question in another section here and didn't get an answer. My question was about the free gns530 plugin available at the org, but the question is basically the same. It sure would be nice if there was a way to toggle the view on and off, without having to go into the plugin menu. Don't know enough about plugins, sorry I can't help.Glen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro
