Multi Crew Experience - Having some trouble

Featured Replies

Downloaded Multi Crew Experience and having a bit of trouble. I start it up, then start FS X. A little window pops up saying that it's waiting for the copilot. Then a few seconds later the program just shuts down (MCE that is) and disappears from the windows task bar completely. I attempt to start it up again, and the same thing happens. The program simply won't load for some reason.Any thoughts? I'm running Windows 7.

Suggest you email the MCE developers at [email protected]. In my experience their support is second to none, and I'd be very surprised if you don't get a reply within 24 hours. My only thought is that your download/instal was bad. Did you disable AV and UAC and run the instal as Administrator as per the MCE instructions ?

I second that. Pure magic on the swiftness.

This surprised me too, and concerned me also, since I'm on 2.4.7.4 and I always start MCE before FSX. So I emailed the developers and they assure me that 2.4.7.6 is no different in this respect.

Dick, i remember that i have updated my AVAST AV when this started. (had also problems with pmdg load manager which was closing down by itself)By turning it off my problems are solvedJohn

Can you add it as an exception in Avast? This would allow running your AV and MCE at the same time, instead of the off solution.

Are any of you having problems with MCE suppressing your RC4 mini-screen?

Matt King

When I go to full screen my MCE screen is minimised...I found if I tell the F/O "show control panel"...bingo, up it comes...try talking to the F/O and see how it goes...I have been playing with voxscripts for the MD-11 and a few other aircraft....this add-on is fantastic!
