March 9, 201214 yr All of a sudden today I'm getting intermittently the forum like if I click on the bread crumb " The AVSIM Forums → Help & Frequently Asked Questions → Help Using the AVSIM Forums". I don't get the body or content, just the header. Also, I'm not getting the main content or body, just the header when entering forums from avsim.com. O, maybe it's Chrome, I just tried FF and it seems ok. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
March 9, 201214 yr Same here. I do only get the menu at the top but the rest of the main page is missing. That´s with Firefox 10.0.2. In Safari it works all right. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
March 9, 201214 yr Same here. But when I refresh it about 3 times it works. Using Google Chrome. - Edward Boyte | Youtube
March 10, 201214 yr Please see this thread...Some recent changes to the AVSIM site appear to have caused a bad reaction to some advertising blocking software tools. Using Firefox and AdBlock Plus, the AVSIM forum indexes started failing to load. They are now using some new scripting which looks like advertising to the blocking tools.Add forum.avsim.net as an exception in your advertising blocking software (*presuming you use it), and that may clear your issues.
March 11, 201214 yr Well, you are crazy if you think im going to disable my adblocker lol! I would recommend the avsim staff to fix this issue.EDIT: Okay, so apparently the filter is blocking non ad divs somehow? Am I reading this correctly? Johan Pettersen
March 11, 201214 yr EDIT: Okay, so apparently the filter is blocking non ad divs somehow? Am I reading this correctly? That´s correct. it apparently seems that it´s erraticly blocking skripts from the forum software. I made an exception for the forum and I didn´t have any problem till now. March 15, 201214 yr I havent experienced this problem for the last day or two, and I did definitely not add an exception in my adblocker. Johan Pettersen
March 15, 201214 yr I'm glad to see this issue is resolved for you guys. I hadn't noticed it on my end, but that doesn't exclude the possibility of the problem existing. :Nerd: Sincerely, Chase My 2017 Build: Liquid Cooled i7 7700K CPU idle @ 4.2GHz | MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G | 16GB's DDR4 4000 RAM | ASUS 27" 144hz Gaming Monitor | MSI Z270 M7 Motherboard | Windows 10 | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 500GB SSD
