March 10, 201214 yr I just purchased the software a while ago, install it, selected the button option, started FSX... clicked on the gauge, the panels came up, the departure briefing started and I'm at about 10,000 feet and the captain is still giving the departure briefing, it ends and start again non stop!I can't select anything else, annoucements or anything just this terrible non stop loop. Very dissapointed :(
March 10, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi,That's a very strange one I haven't seen or heard of before. So you mean you opened the FS2Crew Main Panel, and the Captain started giving his briefing all by himself without you pressing any buttons? March 10, 201214 yr Author Hi,That's a very strange one I haven't seen or heard of before. So you mean you opened the FS2Crew Main Panel, and the Captain started giving his briefing all by himself without you pressing any buttons?I pressed the first button and there he went non stop... But I solved the problem, I uninstall it and re-install it. However I should have read more about it, I thought it was only like the announcements, I have never use this software before... didn't know the FO was going to actually press the buttons, I like to do that myself, therefore I un-install it again. Maybe I try it again in the future. Thanks,
March 10, 201214 yr Commercial Member Glad you got it sorted! That was a weird issue.Nope, FS2Crew is more than just simple announcements. This is a full blown 737 crew simulation that uses real-world procedures. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 10, 201214 yr Author This is a full blown 737 crew simulation that uses real-world procedures.Yes I can see, I miss the "bring your seat into their upright position", "will be passing thru the cabin to pick up any remanig items: :) Don't know if its there or I miss it. also upon arrival, clean up, and shut down...the engines stay all the time on. instruments and other stuff turn off, but the engines remain on.I'll give it a second try soon. also even though I read the manual, it took me a while... The function of these two buttons primary and secondary should be explain a little further in the quick start guide :)
March 10, 201214 yr Hi,,For the sound remaining after engines off, press "q" twice, it may come from FSX.
March 17, 201214 yr Author No it doesn't have to do anything with FSX sound. It just go through the list and the engines remain on at 21%. I have to shut down the fuel valves myself!
March 17, 201214 yr Commercial Member Did you ever the 'non stop talking Captain' issue again? No one else has reported that out of a very large user base, and I've never experienced it.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

Sorry, but it´s very clear what FS2Crew does and what it´s for.If you want to operate this bird in any realistic fashion, FS2Crew is probably the only solution for that. Oliver Donner
March 18, 201214 yr Author Brian:No I didn't have the issue again after re-installing it, however engines still remain on after shutdown... I have to close the valves myself. Eraser74:I do operate it in a realistic fashion been a real pilot myself since 1975. However I do have levers for several items, throttles, spoilers, flaps etc... which I operate myself (that's part of the fun). The other stuff, well there is a VC for that.

March 19, 201214 yr Author Bryan:These are good news, I assumed that since he was clicking everything he was also taking care of that! Good to know he left me some switches to deal with :). Obviously I've been turning them off! Thanks,Chemanuel
