March 14, 201214 yr Have you ever flown one? The O-200 in the SkyCatcher I fly is pretty smooth, and overall a great flying airplane. Not as slippery/sporty as some LSAs I've flown, just very stable and fun to fly. Could use a little more leg room. Put it this way, I was very close to the project for a while. In all honesty, the airframe may be ok but the engine is junk. Continental took their O-200A and removed weight and added a lighter crankshaft. It seems this was performed willy-nilly because they keep breaking internals. They should have just gone with a Rotax 912s and been done with it 3 years ago.just my opinion...
March 14, 201214 yr Lol, now the 4 images I mentioned have been removed from his website!I imagine he got a visit or a call or a knock on the door. Makes me think there is some merit in what was there, but now is not, yet which still may be...
March 14, 201214 yr I really do miss the old map style.Man I do too Kevin...I liked the flight planning map so much in FSX, I bought a second copy (for the 2nd computer). For basic route planning, getting a bird's eye view of the route and obtaining airport info it was rather decent. My only gripe was not knowing the color key of the elevation / terrain (same as sectional charts?) well that and one could not make it larger / size to fit the screen.
