March 12, 201214 yr I stumbled across this, the portfolio of the person who helped design the Flight UI, Brian Coonce.http://www.briancoon...crosoft-flight/http://www.briancoonce.com/ux-design/In the first link, take a look at the 2nd and 3rd image. :Hypnotized: Also, note the alternative loading screen and map style. Now in the second link, check out image #1 and #2. Integrated Live Marketplace with "American Arctic" and "Africa" for purchase?
March 12, 201214 yr Yes sir. There's a Twin Otter! That is one of my favourite FSX (Aerosoft) aircraft! Now I'm excited!Kind regards,
March 12, 201214 yr Commercial Member I would not put much faith in these as proof of anything. They are very early, as you can tell, and use a lot of place holders. I really do miss the old map style. At least they still use it in the Icon GPS. Kevin Miller 3D Artist and developer

At least they still use it in the Icon GPS.You are right, they look like placeholders indeed. The pictures of the 172 and Twin Otter are not in-game screen but actual photo I think.I like the topo style map better too. The one we have now is too cartoonish.
March 12, 201214 yr That's too bad! I hope that is a leading indication of intent though!Kind regards,
March 12, 201214 yr I wouldn't get your hopes up, there is a reason he has "prototyping" all over his examples, and if you notice his sketchflow prototypes show 100 hits in the search results. When you need to make design proposals for UIs intended for lots of data, but don't actually have any data, you make stuff up :) Aaron
March 12, 201214 yr I think the inclusion of multiple planes that do exist is some indication of intent, especially when the order is mixed (it isn't just all available planes on the left then he added random crap at the end of the plane list). Twin otter might also make sense in Alaska so maybe we'll see that appear in the Alaskan DLC. I have no doubt that they will do exactly what they did with Hawaii. Release the content pack with 1 (or a few) planes + a few additional planes to be purchased.
March 12, 201214 yr is that a c172 i spy!? woots. flew one today...also on one screen you can see 3 DLC pics, hard to make out, but one is a picture of a mountain(alaska), the same picture has a desert looking thing *(i'm guessing africa), and it also has one that says america arctic. so....i'm guessing thats the next 3 possible DLC packs...maybe once they release Alaska, they'll announce africa, then announce that the "top of the world" is finished and it will be the entire north pole? after all....it would just be one giant ice cap with no real airports! lol
March 12, 201214 yr Author also on one screen you can see 3 DLC pics, hard to make out, but one is a picture of a mountain(alaska), the same picture has a desert looking thing *(i'm guessing africa), and it also has one that says america arctic. All 3 pics are for Alaska I think, just like when you purchase Hawaii from in game you see a list of screenshots.

March 12, 201214 yr Well, it's a consumer oriented GA sim, with a slight lean towards bush flying. So even though the above images probably aren't clues, I think it's a no-brainer that we'll get a 172 and another bush plane of some kind (Beaver?!!?!) in the Alaska update.
March 12, 201214 yr Those infos do not necessarily mean a specific plane will be added or not, they are just samples who can be inserted or not within Flight.Just take them as examples.
