March 12, 201214 yr No. A Cessna 162 Skycatcher and a Twin Otter.I thought the same thing but wasn't sure. Would love to see a SkyCatcher in Flight! Alaska pack with a 162 included, and a Twin Otter for $15? Just speculating...
March 12, 201214 yr Yeah, I'd be very surprised if either a Cessna 172 or a Piper Cherokee weren't made available for Flight at some point. Those two aircraft are synonymous with general aviation for a reason.
March 12, 201214 yr No. A Cessna 162 Skycatcher and a Twin Otter.well if its the 162 i want a full working panel . There is some beautyfull glass for this airplane when it comes to the panel . Image removed as image is no longer available.
March 12, 201214 yr Well part of me wants to hope, and I am sure we all know that MS has bigger plans for this program. But this is kind of a thin reed, so far. :smile:Even for me. March 13, 201214 yr If you go to the "Weather Selection" screen - look at the bottom where you can click on "Real World Time" and there are what appears to be placeholders for two more buttons - one on either side of the "Real World Time" button. Could be where they plan on adding "Use Real World Weather" and "Randomize Weather". . .just sayin'

March 13, 201214 yr No. A Cessna 162 Skycatcher and a Twin Otter.Rim, being you mainly a GA pilot if I recall it right I think you are pleased about Flight, am I right ?Speaking for myself and after beta jobs I can say Flight it is better than what I thought but there is still several miles to do before reaching a good level. I hope that anyway and until I hope I see a faint possibility of being better and this is good to know for my mind.
March 13, 201214 yr Lol, now the 4 images I mentioned have been removed from his website!Hint hint ...... Image removed as image is no longer available.
March 13, 201214 yr I sincerely hope we never see a Skycrasher...Cessna has crashed both test aircraft and the O-200D is so underbuilt, it keeps shaking itself apart!
March 13, 201214 yr I wouldn't put much stock in this. The images are from January 2011 or earlier and were likely early sketches filled in with made up data to fill in for what the UI designer did not have. The images were probably removed to cease speculation. If you look at any project in the very beginning and use it as a reference of intent for the finished product, you will likely follow the wrong path. There's just so much that changes from pre-alpha to RTM. These look like rough sketches to me.

But I miss some simulation aspects, mainly ATC. FSX is still my sim of choice, but I find myself playing with Flight a lot! The O-200 in the SkyCatcher I fly is pretty smooth, and overall a great flying airplane. Not as slippery/sporty as some LSAs I've flown, just very stable and fun to fly. Could use a little more leg room.
