March 13, 201214 yr I have used the FS AA filter box and now I am reading about using the graphic card to do the AA. Does anybody have any advice and what setting to use for my ATI Sapphire HD 6850 graphics card. I have a lot of blocks on my wings from shadows. For instance like 2x or 4x. I am new to the customizing of the graphic card software. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.I have a good system. ASUS 990FX Sabertooth MOBO, AMD Phenom 1100T 3.3GHZ processor, 16 GB RAM, ATI Saphire HD Radeon 6850 GPU and a Zalman cooling fan. Josh Scholl
March 14, 201214 yr Open up CCC. Navigate to the Gaming section and at the top change the anti-alaising to edge detect. Turn anti-alaising to max. This will smooth everything out for you.Kind Regards,
March 14, 201214 yr Author Thanks, I will give that a shot. Do I need to turn on adaptive AA filtering or anything like that? Josh Scholl
March 22, 201214 yr Author I was playing FSX on my computer and everything was fine. I was trying to tweak with the CCC to help eliminate the edge issues and I decided to go into performance and max out the Memory. I restarted the computer and the screen came up fine. After about 5 minutes the screen goes black with blue vertical lines. I tried going into the CCC to turn down the settings again but now it says the CCC host application has stopped working and the screen pops up again with the black and blue display. Is there a way to somehow maybe delete the drivers and reinstall them again? I don't know how to get rid of the screen. Josh Scholl

April 7, 201214 yr Hello, no way to fix that jaggies shadows. You should only disable that feature in the FSX menu. It happens also with nVidia drivers/VGA, don't worry. Capt.
