March 17, 201214 yr is this true???? Intel to Omit Release of Enthusiast-Class "Ivy Bridge" Processors This Year.http://www.xbitlabs...._This_Year.html Well, it looks reliable! I don't really care now that I am thinking, and I hope this is valid, that Prepar3D IS the future of simming for me, and if so, I'm going to wait yet another year to upgrade wholesale to something suitable to run P3D on as it matures and maybe someday supports modern hardware better. Right now my clunker works good 'nuf for my needs and how cool will that be to upgrade to IB-E or Haswell, SSD drives, Keplar GPU in SLI, etc! It will be a long wait but I bet, well worth it!Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. March 17, 201214 yr Commercial Member While this sounds like a great advancement, I just gotta say one thing:After all these speed, even with full 7Ghz, if anyone ever does it outside of laboratory, you'll still be getting stutters and low frames with FSX!!!! :LMAO: :LMAO:+1 - when the hardware is sufficient to run FSX we will be able to travel through time! March 18, 201214 yr In general I think it to be better than HP, though I would prefer less glow. Makes really hard to do some serious dark-picture editing.I use a tray utility called Advanced Gamma Corrector, and w/ it seem to get excellent conditions for night flying. Last night I flew from KSFO > KLAS and the contrast was marvelous--lots of bright stars up above the haze and really, comparable w/ my old Sony CRT. Maybe you have brightness up too high? I usually aim for very low brightness, higher contrast & moderately upped gamma for optimal night cruising. March 18, 201214 yr Maybe you have brightness up too high?I tested the brightness from 0 to 100, and usually keeping it around 35-40 in the evening, about 75 over day, since I have a very bright room.Could you make a pic in the darkened room for night flying frontally viewed?
