Janet Boeing 737-600 departing KLAS-Las Vegas McCarren... I saw it!

Featured Replies

I was flying delta out of atl and we taxied by the main hanger where delta does their repairs by the fly delta jets sign and I saw a white 737-600 with a red stripe and I am pretty sure that it was Janet airlines which was very strange being associated with area 51 all the way in navada in atl
I remember seeing that on flightaware a while back and i was wondering the same thing

Hey, that's the one PMDG painted. How about that?
Really, that's hilarious! What a coincidence.

There's a 1 in 6 chance if you see a Janet it's the one we painted - not the worst odds.

Oh, just 6? I thought there were more than that. Good odds indeed.

I don't think there's much of a problem taking a picture of the Janet plane, but when Obama was in Chicago the other day, they base the helicopters out of a nearby airport where I work and the SS was demanding not to take any pictures as they were putting it in the hangar.

Ah, but Ryan you forgot to factor the odds of me being in Vegas which greatly increases those odds of ME seeing one of those six Janets. ;)

Well, your location says Vancouver, and WestJet offers non-stop service to KLAS from CYVR... That might actually be a great chance to see both liveries on 1 plane!

We flew out of Bellingham on that trip and we just got back from Maui a month ago so I will not be going to Vegas anytime soon. Plus I just bought the new iPad. That means that I grounded for the next year at least.

Found this one on Wikipedia with the awesome Luxor hotel in the background:
That is a killer shot!

Guys, I realized that I had posted the wrong shot. I posted in a hurry and then realized that that was not the Janet that was given priority over our take off. I went back and looked through the pics again and found the right one. So I guess the odds were 2-6 that I would see it, minus the odds of me being in Vegas. :( Here is the right one. Now I can concentrate on my flight to Vegas. :(

The odds of any given Janet airplane being the one we painted are always 1 in 6 baring any other known information about where the specific other tail numbers are... Being in Vegas doesn't matter, a Janet is a Janet.

Now then....Let's figure out what it means. Janet could be an acronym, an allusion, or a code.J-JoyfulA-AircraftN-NeverE-EndingT-Thrill:LMAO:
