Scary, sorry that happened to you.I have now backed up my entire profile id folder per Paul's suggestion above. I will make a habit of doing so on a regular basis...Sounds like this can happen to anyone at any given time.

I had it happen only once after deleting my cfg file and letting the game re-create it.. I lost only mission and challenge completions.. Aerocaches, Profile stats, achievements, awards and liveries earned previously remained intact.

styckx -Thanks for confirming the flight.cfg deletion issue.During beta, to clear up an issueI'd done the same, (as it was a standard fix for FSX),and then had to refly all my missions & landing challenges, (for a 3rd time).If jcomm had still wanted to reset his profile,I was going to ask him to specifically check that out first.HTHATBPaul
