My XPX demo settings are mid-high with no HDR / 10% clouds and no MSAA ,My system is overclocked back to 4.0ghz @ 1.55v and also have OC'ed the HD 6750 a little.@KSEA my fps is 30-33 but the moment I start looking around it starts dropping and goes down to 10 and does not come back .Is that a system bottleneck ? or is it a glitch in XPX ?

Please post your complete rendering settings. How much VRAM does your HD 6750 have? From my experience with X-plane such significant drops in framerate are mostly caused by VRAM-limits.RegardsFlo

Turn off all traffic, weather and clouds and then post back with your FPS.This is just to confirm whether it's your video card or not. There is a known issue with ATI cards.

Hi, I don't know how to turn the traffic . I managed to get 28 fps all over but by reducing or unchecking something which I am not sure what but I will check and try your advice and report back,

No. The streets and terrain are Openstreetbased, but they are already part of the program. What you might use is the result ofOSM2XP under osm2xp.com . They contain buikding infrormations. Together with the OpenScery Library they place more or less similar buildings in the ciorect kocations. It worked quite good especially in countries with good Open Street Maps like Germany and France. But since the Autogen reacts to the exclude flags, there are no longer any smaller buildings between the OSM Buildungs.

I hope that Austin does something about the clouds / water as those are fps killers. :( and without the weather pull neat 50 fps.I am going to put my X3 to stock speeds as according to this post http://developer.x-p...ame-rates-pt-1/ it says certain things need Bus bandwidth and my NB is @1400 mhz so let me try going back 2000mhz.Anyone have any idea if XPX recognizes more than 1 GB of VRAM as it is a 32 bit sim ?

Yes, OpenStreetmap is already in the X-Plane 10 Scenery. BUT it does - almost - nothing to the terrain! It is only responsible for: roads, railroads, powerlines, coastlines (and indirectly, the autogen of course). The terrain comes for different data. If you want to know more about this, read this:http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2011/12/10/developer-interview-andras-fabian-mr-x-terrain/

I think XPX is not cleaning up RAM or VRAM as when I had the 172 my fps was good then I tried P180 and it dropped to 6 fps so switched back to 172 and the fps never came up. Now don't tell me it's my system as I don't think it's my system.
