FO weird dialog on Runway Entry

Featured Replies

As the title says its a weird reply to " Runway Entry Procedure". It reply's " Clear on the approach" and then "Check". I follow the flows and checklists . It doesn't happen every time either. Anyone else have this? I can live with it but just wondering.

"Clear on the approach" is completely normal and should play every time you announce the runways entry procedure. He's saying that they are no aircraft on the approach so you're clear to enter the active runway.

The FS2Crew FO is a little bit smart. He only says "clear on the approach" if the aircraft is turning left onto the runway... because the FO is sitting on the right and he'll have the best view of the final approach course.Cheers,

Yeah i really like that feature, very intelligent.

OK, that explains why it isn't every time. What I thought was weird turns out to be another great feature. I love this product. It has me flying the NGX exclusively since it's release.

The different responses for left and right sides for runway entry and pin removal on pushback are a nice touch.
