March 26, 201214 yr Just looking to see if someone can point me in the right direction here. I have a flight model problem with Feelthere's Phenom 100. I posted a thread on their support forum only to be told it's on my end. Since it's on my end I'll ask someone here who can point me in the right direction with general FDE characteristic info. The problem plain and simple is this aircraft is not stable in the air. What happens here is after the speed goes past 245kts the plane acts as if it's constantly being hit by turbulence. I could see this happening in the clouds but once above them it should subside. Using clear weather and no ASE (Activesky Evolution) the plane still jerks constantly as if it's being hit by gusting winds above 245kts. I've tried other planes in my hanger and of course there's no issue. I've tried comparable planes like Eaglesoft's Premier I and found no issue. I've adjusted setting for yaw and roll stability in the aircraft.cfg file and nothing is working to stop this issue. I've tweaked FS models for years and have never seen something like this. This problem is the tell tell sign we seem to run into when developers make models for both FSX and FS9 (Carenado comes to mind). I found code in the Phenom FS9 aircraft.cfg file for FSX only aircraft. I'm thankful thought was put out to consider an FS9 variant just the same don't forget about quality control just to get the FSX version out. I worked with Feelthere on a few models and they usually do a great job and/or give great support. I didn't catch this add-on when it was released to report this so they feel there's not a problem. Maybe this one was missed by most FS9er's therefore the problem was never caught. Since the release of the 737-300 series I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought they dropped FS9. It was a Simmarket add that prompted me the Phenom 100 was compatible with FS9. Now here we may have a legitimate problem the developer thinks doesn't exist. I wish they would have had me on the beta as I would have caught this. Outside of the FDE issue this add-on is really nice...Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. I just need to get pointed in the right direction and I'll figure the rest out... March 26, 201214 yr I just did a quick test flight and did not experience any problem. I suspect it must be something on your system, otherwise I am sure there would have been many posts months ago when it was first released. Graeme Butler
March 26, 201214 yr Out of left field I know but I only have one aircraft that exhibits unexpected behaviour ... the Dreamfleet Cessna 310. It yaws terribly if you over throttle.Totally unfamiliar with the attractive Phenom, however Embraer must have specs on its performance, loading, centre of gravity considerations et al which may help you drill down to solving your problem.Best of luck.
March 26, 201214 yr :( Are You Adding Passengers And Cargo From The Configuration Manager? Are You Doing A Specific Flight Or Does It Happen AnyTime You Fly Or Are You Loading A Saved Flight? You Using Any External Weather? Also Try This When You Start Your Flight Load The Default Cessna Then Load The Phenom.... Let Me Know If This Helps :( Also By Any Chance You Using Fspassengers? You Using Any External Weather? Also Try This When You Start Your Flight Load The Default Cessna Then Load The Phenom.... Let Me Know If This Helps :( Also By Any Chance You Using Fspassengers?First of all thanks everyone...Now to answer Jordan's questions:Yes I was adding passengers and cargo from the configuration manager. At first thought I did not and the same behavior was present. This happens on every flight I fly this aircraft with. I'm not loading a saved flight.I usually use ASE but after seeing problems I tried flying with no weather and found the same issue.Loading a Cessna first before loading a specific aircraft usually is do to an issue with the avionics. Just the same I ended up doing this by mistake the other night and unfortunately found the same issue once I took off.Last but not least I am not using FSPassengers. March 28, 201214 yr Mine won't even go over 250 KIAS. I have just given up on it. That was the last product i'll ever buy from them. Everything they make is just too damn buggy and I can never get proper support. Telling you it's a problem on your end is just their scapegoat. Did the same to me on other products I purchased from them as well.

March 28, 201214 yr Mine won't even go over 250 KIAS. I have just given up on it.well ... how are you flying the plane. she isn't all that fast (ie, she is a VLJ) and you fly her more like a turboprop that an 737.are you flying the outlined climb profiles as listed in the manual? out get outside of this she doesn't have the 'gas' to re-accelerate quickly.all the above are how the real planes fly.i have no memory of you posting your question on the support forum -http://forum.iemit.com--Telling you it's a problem on your end is just their scapegoat.so if i, the other members of the feelThere team, and other users can't reproduce the issue it is feelThere's fault? how do you suggest that i reproduce the issue? dillon is the only person reporting the problem. with the release version i flew many a circuit/climb/descent/cruise by hand, in FSX and FS9, with no issue-- D.
