Steve & Trevor,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I do have the Goflight config file set to Level D with "no assignment" for each field. I've also tryed to setting the config file to Progect Magenta with no luck. I will keep trying different things and let you know if I find anything that works.

Hi Jason,

The next few things to check:

- that you do not have an FSUIPC LUA script running that is writing to the MCP displays

- if you use LINDA you have not enabled the VR Insight MCP support.

- You are using GoFlight'ls latest software.

If none of that sorts things out, can you let me know your operating system version and language used.

Best wishes

Steve

Hi Steve,

Yes, I have the latest goflight cofig program. I don't have FSUIPC or LUA at all. I checked Task Manager to see if there was any processes or services that could be in coflict, but I didn't see anything that could account for the problem.

Here are my computer specs:

Windows 7 professional 64 bit

Asus motherboard

AMD ATHLON II x 2 (2.9GHz)

4096 MB ram

ATI Radeon HD5799

I Wonder if my MCP is older and not compatable with the program?

Again, thanks for your time and effort.

Its possible, but I have so few people reporting anything about the MCP its difficult to confirm either way.

One thing you can check for me is to make sure your formats are correct in Windows. (Control Panel, Region and Language, Formats, Additional settings... and then click Reset and OK.)

Also, please confirm you are using Goflights latest sofware, 2.20 and that you have installed all the updates for .NET Framework 4 using Windows Update.

In the meantime, I'll take a look at the code and see if I can see anything that might cause this behaviour on your MCP.

Best wishes

Hi Steve,

Still "no Joy". I do have the latest 2.20 software installed. I will check the updates for .NET framework4. I am also using SP1c for 737NGX. I Did the reset you mentioned, even experimented with the different values to no avail. I will also give a email to Goflight to see if my symptoms might be handled through them.

Thank you very much

Absolutely great job Steve. Prime example of the people that make this hobby such a wonderful experience.

I can not think you enough for the time you have dedicated to this project.

I thought I'd share these with anybody that may want to use them.

I made these to keep track of the function settings I used for each switch or button.

Always good to have this info backed up, in writing, just in case.

I only have these two thus far but have a RP48 on order and will make one for it when it comes in.

They are .jpg images so just save and print how ever many you need.

Hello Steve,

One small question. Is there any way to print all options available in each data box, ex, Switch event, switch Action and so on?

I find hard to find the correct option to a particular event/action from the drop down box, as there are so many of them!!!

Not a big deal but if such option was there, it will be, definitely a great help …

Once again, tks for your software. It works like a charm….

Cheers,

Daniel Gomes

No there isn't, but using notepad you can open the file <fsx directory>\PMDG\PMDG737NGX\SDK\PMDG_NGX_SDK.h and scroll down about one third and you will see a section called "// Control Events". This will list all the events available for use.

Best wishes

Tks Steve,

I will go for that file once at home.

Steve is the DATA_FWDOH_GROUND_POWER_AVAILABLE working correctly?

I have a toggle switch assigned to turn on the ground power and I'm trying to assign the light above to match the GRD Power Available light.

I cant seem to find the right combination.

Also it appears in the Light Data as... DATA_FWDOH_GROUND_CONNECTION_AVAILABLE, instead of DATA_FWDOH_GROUND_POWER_AVAILABLE.

Is this right?

Hi Jim,

I've just looked at the code and you are right, there is no function to read the Ground Power Available light. I have just added it to the code and provided a new function called DATA_FWDOH_ELEC_LIGHT_GROUND_POWER_AVAILABLE.

The function called DATA_FWDOH_GROUND_CONNECTION_AVAILABLE is correct - it tells you if the aircraft can accomodate a ground connection.

I'll release the updated software Mondayish as I will be working on an update for users of the GFTHR-737 Throttle Handles.

I have just uploaded a new release of the interface, version 1.0.87.0. Details as follows:

- TQ6 Tab:

- added specfic support for the GFTHR-737 Throttle Handles so that the buttons work correctly;

- added "Device to Use" for people who own more than one TQ6 device;

- Settings Tab:

- checkbox to force leading zeros on whole numbers for GF45/GF46 devices;

- checkbox to force the interface to start minimised to the notification area;

- Light Data:

- added DATA_FWDOH_ELEC_LIGHT_GROUND_POWER_AVAILABLE;

- Bug Fixes:

- DME readouts now correct;

- GF45/46 now displays the transpoder code with a leading zero.

You must use version 2.21 of the Goflight software for this release to work which is available on Goflight's website.

Best wishes

Thank you Stephen for your contribution to the flightsim community. I am using your first version of the driver with my MCP Pro firmware A17

Had to install a USB 1.0 card and finally it is working fine. Great job you save my day

Here is my modest contribution: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=169111
