GoFlight PMDG Driver Now Available

Recommended Posts

Hello Steve,

first of all thank you very much for this software, it's brilliant... !!!

The light in my T8 module for the "position light" action doesn't work. Also I think it's connected somehow with the "taxi light" action. When I turn on the taxi light, the light assigned as the position light in the T8 module cames on.

Another thing is that there are no options in the light action section for the efis buttons (STA, WPT, ARPT, DATA..... ). I have a RP8 module as an efis but I don't have the option in the lights for those buttons.

And finally, I would like to minimize the program to the notification area, is it possible?

Thanks again for your efforts and sorry for my english........

I've reported the issue with the position light to PMDG. It returns the taxi light status and not the position light status. They have said they will look at it, once the 777 has been released.

I'll add the EFIS selector and switch states to the light data.

I'll also look at minimising it to the notification area, but it will be one of the last things I do as I want the product stable first.

Thx

Steve

Yes ............

Can you copy and paste your log file. Thx

Cheers,

Nothing odd there. What language is you PC set to? I haven't included any globalisation support so I'm wondering if its a language problem because everything looks OK apart from the MCP displaying two zeros in the altitude display.

Also, what version of Goflight software do you have installed?

To be on the safe side, PM me your email address and I'll send you the latest build.

Best wishes

Steve

Hello Steve,

As promised here is the follow up...

I'm afraid that even with the last build installed the mcppro doesn't work.

Simply it won't change the displays. At the aircraft they change but at the MCP, don't.

One other thing that is strange is that at a certain point when I'm turning the Captain Course knob or any other knob actually, at the mcp, the A/T led lights up! If I continue turning the knob further, the led goes off again... This led thing goes for the other knobs as well as they light on and off several of them.

I have tried, also, with a powered usb hub and without any other GoFlight module. No luck...

Cheers,

Have you tested it with a default aircraft to make sure the MCP isn't faulty? I'll also send you the GoFlight MCPPRO test program to make sure there are no shorts on your device.

Tks Steve..

As soon as I get home I will try the test program although the MCP works fine with Leveld and the default aircrafts as well all other modules...

Hi Daniel,

I'm just trying things out, because you are the first person who hasn't been able to get this running, so there must be something quirky to find.

Best wishes

Steve

GoFlight GF46 Modules: If anyone has one of these and is willing to spend a little time testing for me, can you PM me please. I have developed support for the NGX with this device, but I need more people to check it works OK before releasing it to the wider community.

Thx

Steve

Hi Steve - I've noticed with the last couple of flights with the two most recent versions that both of my EFIS controls are set to 5 - 320, even if I uncheck that option in the interface once the NGX is loaded. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,

Jim

Hello Steve,

My apologies for the lack of news but went on an unexpected business trip and have no access to my Sim. Probably only next week I will be home, again …
