My MCP Pro have been tested with this new interface. It works. I have not yet run into any kind of problems. It's a very fine job. Saying thank you seems to be a poor an unsatisfying phrase to use, but it comes from my heart.

Here I am, back to this issue.

I have downloaded, and installed, the new version0. 9.0.0 with exactly the same result. No digits whatsoever on the MCP. I have, also tried removing FSUIP from the Sim. No luck.

 

I have noticed a SimConnect: Exception Received: EVENT_ID_DUPLICATE in the log.

 

Could this be related to the problem?

Did you try turning off GFdevFSX....This starts automatically when FSX loads up..?

I have ran all previous versions with no problems whatsoever, once you sorted out things in the early days:-)

I have just installed the latest version and I cannot get it to start

Thats nothing to worry about, totally normal. It just means a simconnect event has already been registered.

I had the same problem with the MCP displays dead but a re-boot of the computer and steve driver solved the problem. After that it worked fine even with the goflight driver. I don't turn it off since its driving my gf-46's.

Looks like you have an old version of GFDev.dll. Thats either because you are not running the latest version of the GoFlight software or you have copies of GFDev.dll located on your system which are being picked up before the latest version.

 

Search and remove all copies of GfDev.dll on your system except for the main one installed in Program Files\Goflight (or where ever you installed it) and/or update your GoFlight software.

Hi Steve,

 

Back from my break and just installed the new beta, wow, what a progress. I am yet to take it for a test ride, the amount of configurations available is just awesome, still getting my head wrapped around it.

 

I was wondering, and I apologize in advance if this is mentioned in the thread, I read the document but didn't find an option to assign multiple events to one switch, sort of like to switch on all landing lights by flipping one switch. Is this a limitation, which is perfectly understandable, then I will work with it. If there is a workaround, do let me know, it will help me assign more functions to switches.

 

EDIT: Just noticed the LDG_LIGHTS TOGGLE .... I think I need glasses soon :Nerd: ... ok I shall look more carefully...again gr8 job.

Is there a method for assigning a T8 switch to control the full movement of the APU start switch yet?

ie:

Switch On = APU ON + Start in the NGX

Switch Off = APU OFF in the NGX
