Ok so there have been 2 DLC's now for Flight both of which were WW2 War-Birds with no cockpits, I will let the polls prior speak for how people and myself feel about that. Now to move forward I am hoping that Microsoft's representatives see this like they apparently have seen other threads prior and gauge the viability of what I am asking.I personally would like to see a Hawker Beechcraft King Air 350 / 350i, this aircraft is in my opinion the PERFECT aircraft for Flight as its quick yet small and very very well known and respected with over 6000 King Air 350's in flight around the world (in RL). for those of you who are not familiar with a King Air 350 here is a link to help you understand where I and hopefully many others are coming from: http://www.hawkerbee.../king_air_350i/The main differences between the 350 and 350i are a remodeled interior and much more advanced avionics that can handle CAT III IFR weather. As for performance they are exactly the same and both come with the winglets at the tips of the wings. Below are some pictures of the flight deck systems and the aircraft so you don't have to navigate to a different webpage in case you are feeling lazy :PI know that Microsoft has stated this is not a full "simulator", so with that in mind I have some ideas to give a good balance between simmers and gamers, the GPS systems need to work and have a few functions (CLR for clearing the map, this is in the Icon A5), (Range - this zooms the map in and out, if someone can't figure this out they probably should not even be operating a computer or console), (PROC - allows the user to select the destinations runways for approaches using many different plans, this is really easy to figure out). The flight plan is pretty much GPS Direct when you select a job at an airport and its only jobs that make the GPS show the direct to line, this keeps it simple for the gamers but allows us simmers to fly IFR without using that cheating HUD. Auto-Pilot needs to be implemented, there is nothing complicated about auto-pilot systems, if someone can't figure out how to use auto-pilot then again they definitely should not be using a computer or console. As far as Anti-Icing systems, they are a 1 click link to keep it simple, the Pitot Heat is seperate. Every button applicable in the cockpit can be clicked, some do nothing but you can "pretend" they do (ex. Cabin Temp and Pressurization). This again makes flying easy for the gamers but gives immersion to us simmers. As for the NAV/Radio, allow users to use the panel to its fullest, since ATC is not included it does not complicate things that much, and if/when ATC is included MS can do what they have done before, have your "virtual co-pilot" change it automatically for you.Beechcraft King Air 350 in flight (Photo courtesy of the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, this photo is the IP of Hawker Beechcraft, all rights reserved)beechcraft_king_air_350i-10.jpgBeechcraft King Air 350 Flight Deck "Day Time" (Photo Courtesy of user jkaiser on Flickr, this photo is the sole IP of user Jkaiser on Flickr, all rights reserved)712012408_3c03638b30_o.jpgBeechcraft King Air 350 Flight Deck "Night Time" (Photo Courtesy of user jkaiser on Flickr, this photo is the sole IP of user Jkaiser on Flickr, all rights reserved)6209518922_859981209c_b.jpgBeechcraft King Air 350i Flight Deck "Day Time" (Photo Courtesy of user jkaiser on Flickr, this photo is the sole IP of user Jkaiser on Flickr, all rights reserved)1234942113_4c1fb385cd_b.jpgBeechcraft King Air 350i Flight Deck "Night Time" (Photo Courtesy of user jkaiser on Flickr, this photo is the sole IP of user Jkaiser on Flickr, all rights reserved)4497254849_3db4e6cbd9_b.jpg

And it shouldn't be that difficult for MS to include such a model... It was already in fs9/fsx, needing attention/tweaking, but after all the Maule was there as well an the one in FLIGHT feels a LOT better!!!!

that is part of the reason why I want to see it in Flight!

I think this would be a great addition to Flight, especially with Alaska just around the corner.First thing is first though... I want my Supercub :)

I'd rather see the KA B200, much sleaker looking IMO, but any well modeled twin I am in favor of!!

Best, Michael

Thanks to everyone for voting, hopefully Microsoft really does check these forums (it was hinted at in the interview), and that instead of Microsoft viewing this thread as a reactive statement to Flight, that its taken as a proactive one, your ideas do count, make them heard, get the changes made, Flight has a great chance to be very successful, lets make it so!

If you email those to the devs at [email protected], I'm pretty sure they will take this into consideration.

I actually have in 2 different formats to make it as clear as possible, this is just another way for me to get this idea out there, the more people who see this and like it or not like it the better, it gets recognition, and recognition is hard to pass up as a Dev. Awareness is how things get changed, I am just trying to maximize the possible change, and if it works, and Microsoft sees that this can be very profitable by meeting Simmers and Gamers 50/50, then in the end we all win, and that my friend is what I am trying to accomplish.

Have not even gotten an automatic message back from MSFlight, wonder if they are hiding from all the angry people over the A6M Zero, lol

You are emailing Flight support with a suggestion for an aircraft. It is not the correct forum to offer suggestions to them. Fact of the matter is, everyone has their idea of what they want in the game. They cannot listen to everyone, no matter how good your argument is. The Flight team know what they are doing. They have already stated that they are hard at work on the pack to be released AFTER Journey to Alaska. They will have content planned and already completed and ready to go for the next few months, at least.

lets hope the content is better than the P-51 or A6M then.

Agreed. If Hawaii Adventure pack was anything to go by, it will include at least one Deluxe aircraft. But I feel that really isnt enough. It would be great if each pack would contain 3-4 fully functional aircraft, cockpit and all, but I highly doubt that will happen. As nice as it will be to fly in the current aircraft in a different setting, I dont know if scenery alone will be enough to keep our interest peaked for very long.

Perhaps it should come with 4 aircraft and you get to choose 1 for free, the others you have to buy.

Thanks for the 105 votes so far, my goal was to get a base of 100 votes, this should give Microsoft a decent picture of what people want to see and how viable an accurate well modeled King Air is worth to them. Once agian I thank you for taking the time to read the post and/or vote in the poll.

Here is the default King Air 350 in FSX. Not one of their best VC, but better than no cockpit.350.jpg350-ext.jpg
