Hi before i updated to sp1 the pre start sequence had worked with no problems, now i dont hear the boarding call, or the load sheet call etc, also when calling for coffee etc i hear the pa come in and asking me and than i hear him leaving and thats its, i dont hear him coming back and after if i say thanks i can hear him saying no problem and him leaving the cockpit. Also desnding down thru fl10k i get a slight pause in the sim as i didnt get before with the earlier release.so was wondering if there is a quick solution or do i need to unistall fscrew2 and reinstall.

Uninstall FS2Crew and reinstall. Also, please check your windows audio settings and ensure the FS2Crew audio settings are set correctly.

thx for that but did a reinstall and still can hear any of the pre start sequence, only thing i heard in the beginning was the fo saying lets gets started, preflight checks and everything else goes ok but some of the pa and fa calls are missing. where abouts are you referring to the audio settings in widows since everything was workings on the previous version and i still can hear the fa come in a taking my request for coffee but i dont hear him come back with the coffee

Please ensure that the Config panel in fs2crew is set correctly, set it to the Audio device you intend to use.Assuming that you are using windows 7 go to control panel>>hardware and sound>>sound and ensure your devices are setup correctly. Also go to the communications tab and select"do nothing" in the options when windows detects communications activity.Are you using a headset ?

hi yes i using a head set and checked the settings i used the previous version of fscrew2 and everything had worked until i installed the sp1 so i mite try the previous version again to see if i get the prestart sequence fa cal outs to work if you havnt got any other ideas to try

Hi Peter,What kind of sound system are using using? Is it a fancy one?What kind of sound card?Re-install FS2Crew won't make any difference. The problem is associated with your audio hardware, and probably a setting in it.

hi bryon no its a simple one the thing is is that i got all your fscrew2 products for the ifyl737, mad dog fsx 737 and the 747 and now the ngx all of them work with out any problems including the ngx when it first came out nothing was wrong with it . since i installed the sp1 iam having problems with it now i get the pause going thru the fl 10k alt the sound card i got i think is nividia high definition audio that what it says when i check in the control panel under devices that i got installed.

thx bryon sent you my email address, this is a strange one seems to me that it mite be some sound files are missing since as i stated in my previous op is that when i press the fa button the guy comes in the doors and i request coffee and he says you bet ya and i be back in jiffee and i hear him close the door on the way out But thats how far i get with him since i dont him him return knocking on the door and if i say thanks i hears him say no problem and i hear him leaving the door again and closing it behind him. so if it were my audio trouble than i wouldnt be able to hear the fa taking my coffee request would i or not?The other starnge part is that it had work perfectly in the original version

hi bryon i kind fixed my problem now i got it working but now iam getting all my sounds thru my head set now instead of sounds thru speakers iam online now for another hours or so thx for your help.

this is for bryan, thx again for all your help and understanding for the help you had given me in trying to solve my problem. The good news is that i mite know what the problem mite be and you were right it the hardware. The only thing we didnt check is if my speakers were working since i did a test and found out iam getting no sound from the right hand speaker iam getting all my sounds from the left hand speakers so hopefully this is the cause of it so have to wait till i get new speakers. Unless iam wrong but hopefully iam not i havnt made any changes yet so if its the speakers i will download sp1 and try again since of the guage u had installed last nite i will let you know how it goes unless you tell me that iam wrong about my theory about my right hand speaker

hi bryan hate to say this but yahooooooooooo its working as normal, download the sp1 again and tried the things we did last nite and everything worked. so guess learnt the hard way to check the hardware to see if its working before doing anything else lol. Luckly i thought of it the next morning to check the right speaker to see if it was working saves me alot of work of reinstslling everything again. :im Not Worthy:
