April 6, 201214 yr I noticed when doing passengerjobs, that those people are constantly sniffing and coughing and so on. I thought it was rather warm at Hawaii and didn't expect people to get a cold there all the time! If it had been Alaska, ok, but Hawaii...? Anyone else noticed this too?
April 6, 201214 yr Oh yea, I commented on that back in the early days. I suspect they put it in there for " ambiance", to remind us we have passengers - although I would rather hear them talking on occasion during the flight, rather than just after takeoff and just before landing. Yeah they all sniffle, sneeze, cough, and clear their throats. Annoying isnt it... Don B
April 6, 201214 yr Arent you always flying at around 2000 meters high and up on Hawaii (im thinking main island) , and maybe for the good looks with "Low and Threatening" or "Thunderstorms" at dusk or dawn ? Then yes it could get pretty cold sitting outside with about 100 kts . Guessing you fly with the Stearman. Since i havent heard this in the Icon.
April 6, 201214 yr Guessing you fly with the Stearman. Since i havent heard this in the Icon. It only happens on missions with passengers in the Maule. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
April 6, 201214 yr It's the VOG! (look it up) Can influence vacation plans, whether to buy a condo in one area or another and there's not much that can be done about it!

Yeah they all sniffle, sneeze, cough, and clear their throats. Annoying isnt it... Yes, I also would rather hear some comments or whatever. I have to add that I use LiveATC at the moment to make Flight a bit more immersive and then I don't hear that sniffing that much anymore. I also have to say that I don't do jobs too often because I don't like flying to ONE destination for a long time that much... I wish they would let ME do the navigating using VOR instead of putting that awfull arrow on screen all the time... Those jobs become boring quickly due to this 'one goal' scenario. Guessing you fly with the Stearman. Since i havent heard this in the Icon. As Hook said you can only transport passengers in the Maule, so it's no wonder you didn't hear it in the Icon. It's the VOG! (look it up) Can influence vacation plans, whether to buy a condo in one area or another and there's not much that can be done about it! VOG! I thought you were kidding, but I see it existx indeed! Ha, that could be it... although I doubt that MS 'simulated' this...

No, J Van E, they are just allergic to your flying :Party: I am just kidding, mate, they have health issues regardless :) Someone thought that would be cooler or easier to implement rather than some small talk or chatting with a pilot more frequently. They only time passengers address me is when i'm flying through the storm and they are worried for their survival. Then, they just ask me "Is this normal" or "Is this safe" or they simply go all out sayin "Ugh! I think i'm going to be sick" and start throwing up in MY plane! :) Cheers
April 7, 201214 yr Anyone who's played BATTLEFIELD 3 knows that random chatting can be very entertaining! Yeah, some things the soldiers say are funny. My favorite was the tourettes medic that would yell "Die you #$#@%#!" as he was reviving. I know it was a bug, but that's one bug they should've left in...was so funny.
