April 7, 201214 yr Hi After I, by an accident turned off the AP, by pushing my yoke. I couldn't turn on CMD A, I noticed that the failure for AP 1 was activated after I've pushed the yoke. April 7, 201214 yr Yep, in the real thing a strong enough force will shear the rivets linking the yoke & ap actuators. I believe it's built that way intentionally so there's no risk of damaging anything more expensive. It can't be fixed until you're on the ground. April 8, 201214 yr Commercial Member Mr. Ken is correct, in real life the shear pins have to be replaced on the ground. In the PMDG NGX, you can fix this in the air via the FMC.
