I was mistaken, apparently it's the Experimentals that have SE-X! ;-)Like this little fellow:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/183758/M/Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Sorry Marcus, I completely forgot about this thread!Regarding the Swedish registrations:SE-A.. , SE-B.. , SE-C..Seem to be mostly vintage planes (looking at airliners.net I see Piper Cubs, DC-3, and old biplanes)SE-D.. , SE-R..Jet aircraft, and it doesn't seem to matter whether D or R is used.SE-U..Ultralights, glidersSE-V..Seems to be ultralights/vintage/experimental. It's not very common.SE-X..ExperimentalSE-Y..Homebuilt aircraft (seems to include UL planes).SE-Z..BalloonsAll other letters appear to be used by "normal" GA traffic, including turboprops. It would be great if any of this would be implemented.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Hello Markus,I downloaded your program last night. I have to say it's briliant - especially the fact that night time traffic at airports between 00:00 - 06:00 is either very quiet or dead silent! The following aischedule timetable for Blackpool Airport shows this nicely.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/75097.jpgOne question - if I modify the landing fees for an individual airport (under the airport tab), the landing fees for that airport won't change if I modify 'airport fees' (under flightplan generation) and then press the 'Assign Airport Fees to all airports'. Is this a bug - or is that the way it's suposed to be?RegardsAnthony

If you whant change them back, go to the previous changed airport and set it to zero. GA-Traffic will ask if you whant to set the value to a value which is lower than the computed. If you now press 'No' the value will be the default one and the airport will now be changed if you use the global function.

>nice program you have there, where can I get it?This is the home page for that program. When I went looking for it, I wasn't able to find it in the usual libraries like avsim or flightsim.comhttp://hem.passagen.se/rudhan/AISchedule/Index.htmI find it very good for checking to see how many gates I need for the airlines at any particular airport when designing afcads.>If you now press 'No' the value will be the default one and the >airport will now be changed if you use the global function. Thanks for that tip MarkusAnthony

Do you mean he was a paper plane? Or that he was stationary? ;-)

Everything seemed to go OK and I have Traffic-GA.bgl and it's 35,779Kb ... but I just flew half way across England without seeing any other aircraft at all. When I arrived at my destination (Wycombe, EGTB), where there are usually half a dozen planes, i was all alone! Any ideas? Is something conflicting? is there some FS option that has to be enabled? Windows XP Home (on a 2.8G P4): FS9, VFR Scenery, VFR Terrain, UK2000 airports, Ultimate Traffic.

Hi,do you have a AFCAD file for EGTB? The stock airport have no parking places, so without a AFCAD2 file for EGTB there will be no traffic there.Did you here traffic doing flights or was there silence the whole flight?Did you look in FS9 if GA Traffic is enabled in the Traffic options? And at last go to KORS and test if there is GA traffic.

I have the latest version of GA and its a super program thank you again. One "bug"? Despite having many AFCAD2 files and loading them in GA Traffic (using the compile airports button) GA Traffic still only recognises the default MS airport AFCADS not the new ones with more parking spaces(I used FAIROAKS as an experiment to check).Any ideas?ThanksAdamAdam Moorewww.hhuk.netWin XP Pro - Dell Dimension 4500P4 2.54 GHz - 1GB RAMHightech Radeon 128MB 9800Pro IceQ19" CRT 1600x1200 @ 100hzAudiophile 24/96FS2004 + UK2000 1/2/3/4/5/6/EGLL PROUK VFR 1/2/3/4Ultimate VFR : RealAir SF-260Ultimate IFR : PMDG 737-700NGUltimate FUN : RealAir Decathlon

I had this problem with a brand new AFCAD for the addon scenery package "Hanks Trading Post". The new airfield duly appeared on the map, and the "Goto Airport" list in fs2004. But not on the GA-Traffic airport list.I simply moved the afcad from this folder:Addon-Scenery -> USA -> Alaska -> Hanks Trading Post -> SceneryTo this one:Addon-Scenery -> AFCAD -> SceneryIt worked, it now appears on the GA-Traffic Airports list.Makes me wonder how the "collect airports" button works. Does it scan folders for afcads or does it look at an airport list generated by fs2004?Anthony Dyer

Hi Anthony,GA-Traffic scans the directories.Problem is that it doesent scan that deep :-(I will look at the 'Collect airports' to improve it.Currently best way is to have the AFCADs in one folder like you describe.

Hi Martin, the swedish scheme is different than the German, so it isn't possible to implement without further programming.I will do this in a updated version.

OK not sure if it is advisable to move all my UK2000 AFCADS to the ADDON SCENERY folder in FS2004:-( they have their own folder made during the installation process. Unless I just copy them (not cut) but that may confuse FS?Markus if you can make the collect aiports option scan deeper for all AFCADS under FS2004 it would solve the problem I guess.RegardsAdam

I've got a question I just haven't had any luck solving on my own.I usually fly from Lebanon Muni, NH (KLEB). I've got an afcad (if you want to try it, download it here, and unzip it to your fs9addon sceneryscenery folder, but keep in mind, UT installs an afcad for KLEB that lacks GA parking...mine's better!) which GA-traffic has collected. I've added about 9 small, 2 medium, 2 large GA parking spots, and 2 commercial gates, one cargo spot. GA-traffic defaults KLEB to "medium commerial airport", i've also tried "small commercial" and "medium airfield". The GA planes i have installed are all of the default GA along with Mike Stone's aerostar and queen airs, all "made AI". I've generated a bunch of bgls with various options and NO MATTER what I do, the only traffic I get at KLEB are king airs, learjets, caravans, and aerostars, and they are all parked in my small GA spots. Not a single cessna or piper. Can someone point me in a direction to "force" GA-traffic to include some little birds? KLEB is not a big airport. It has a single commercial flight to KLGA, and a fedex ramp. Most of the traffic is GA. About half of which is cessnas. Thanks for any tips!Best,sg

Not a single cessna or piper. I would suggest modifying the parking spots where your afcads are located. The problem I think you're having is one to do with the parking radius of your spots.Try the following radii:GA Small: 7m (all the default ga pistons)GA Medium: 11m (Caravan, King Air, Learjet)The default radius for GA-Small is 10m when selected in AFCAD. At this radius, the Cessna Caravans and Learjets can park here (they have a radius of 9m & 10m in AFCAD). I think the GA program assigns aircraft to a certain airport not just on the landing fees for that aircraft but also on the size of the aircraft for the available parking spots.Once you've modified your parking spots, regenerate the flight plans and see if this fixes it.Hope this helpsAnthony Dyer
