Q: This program is compatibile with Project PAI and another programs?A: Yes, FS2004 manage more than one traffic BGL file. So if the other programs didn't use the filename 'Traffic-GA.bgl' for there file it wouldn't give any problems at all. I didn't know a program which use the name Traffic-GA.BGL so I guess it works with all other traffic generators out there.Q: After use 'Make AI' the program ask if it should change the orginal plane. In the readme you wrote that GA-Traffic didn't change the orginal plane, what does this dialog mean?A: The dialog is for changing the GA-Traffic values of all liveries of the plane. It didn't mean the orginal aircraft it only means the values of the plane in GA-Traffic. I repeat it again GA-Traffic doesen't change the orginal plane textures.In the next release of the program I will change the message to make this clear. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but english isn't my first language.

Hi ALLI tried to install the beta uploaded to avsim, but it says it can'tinstall because of another version. But when I look into theconfiguration screen/software there is NO version of GA trafficmentioned. Nor is there a uninstall option in the programgroup/installation folder. So I removed it manualy and used regcleanto remove any traces but I still can't install it without saying itthat I can't be installed because of another version. Edam and other users found a bug about reading several Aircraft data.The bug occured on startup and the program hang at a certain aircraft or crashed with 'Out of memory'.So if GA-Traffic pauses on a certain plane and then either crashes or stalls, remove the Plane from your 'Aircraft' directory and try again.I will fix this bug as soon as possible.For all intrested in the explanation of the bug:Those aircraft.cfg files are contains only a line end character (0x0a) and the C++ code I use expect two character. So the C++ code didn't found the different lines, read the whole file in a buffer which is to small and the program crash. I will change the reading of this file and post a bug fixed exe later today here.A complete upload of a bug fixed version will not be possible before friday.Sorry for this and hope the workaround help you.

Hi all,just add the Bug fix to this message. Here's a question I have:How do I exclude a certain airport so that GA Traffic generator does not create any flightplans to/from it?I'm asking because AI traffic is not compatible with some addon sceneries.I currently just set the Landing fees for that airport to something ridiculously high - is this the correct way to do it?

Markus, I downloaded GA-Traffic and ran the installer. I have noGA traffic, nor do I find any of the .BGL files mentioned in some of your posts. The installer appears to run and it says GA-Traffic installed correctly, but there is nothing there that I can find. What did I do wrong?Thanks!Dewey

Hi JimmiG,I plan to add a 'BlackList' feature and a checkmark for airports. But this feature will not appear before the end of this or maybe next week.I also try to add a algorithm to detect military airports.

Dewey - One more thing to do. At this point it's installed but it hasn't been run yet. Now you need to go to the installation folder and double-click on the file named GA-Traffic.exe to actually execute the program.Doug

DeweyI ran into the same issue. The installer said it installed into my documents/GA-traff folder but that folder didn't exist. It puts it under Programs/GA-Traff. Navigate there & run the exe file & you will be able to run it from there.

Markus, thanks a million for GA-Traffic ! Just what i and probabely a couple thousands other simmers have been looking for all along.And it works like a charm!One burning question though, may sound ignorant too, but how exactly do i exclude aircraft i do not want to be included in GA-Traffic ?? I've read the manual from cover to cover and read all comments here.Tried unchecking the ' Use as GA-aircraft' box but still all aircraft present in my FS aircraft folder and which meet GA standard seem to turn up. I'd really like only the aircraft with reduced texture size, as in the programs created 'GA-AI xxxx' to be used (great feature ! ), not the original ones with their huge texture size. I'd say it would be great if only aircraft generated by the 'Make AI plane' feature would actually be used by GA-Traffic. We would not have to exclude the original ones then. Could you please enlighten me how exactly exclusion of unwanted aircraft models is established within the menu ? Thanks a lot again, Markus ! It's really mindblowing to line up behind ones favourite historic GA aircraft or warbird while another one is lining up behind and while waiting for yet another one to come in and land. Hi Jan,normally GA-Traffic will not use the orginal planes if you made a 'GA-AI' one. Are you shure that it use both?The program didn't remove the planes from your aircraft folder it only adds the GA-AI ones.To exclude a plan you deselect the 'Use fo GA' or you disable all usages or set the probability to zero. All three should result in no use of the plane. Important is you MUST PRESS APPLY for every plane you change. If you select another plane before pressing APPLY your changes are lost.Hope this explain your questions.
